Our stay at Lords Inn Udaipur was genuinely disappointing and nowhere close to what one would expect from a 4-star property. While the rooms are spacious and relatively clean, the location is desolate and the service levels are subpar. Location: If you’re visiting Udaipur to explore the main attractions like Lake Pichola or City Palace, this is not a convenient location. Everything is at least 20 minutes away, and traffic only makes it worse. Rooms & Maintenance: Many issues mentioned in previous reviews are absolutely true. The washrooms develop a strong smell after just one use and the odour lingers. Hot water is inconsistent and difficult to manage. The bathroom fittings are poorly designed and frustrating to use. The TV in the room did not work during our stay. Service: This is where the hotel falls far short of 4-star standards. There was no assistance with luggage during check-in or check-out. Only one person was handling the entire front desk. Room service was slow — we had to call multiple times before anyone responded. We had late check-out included in our booking, yet the front office was uncooperative and kept pressuring us to vacate “as soon as possible,” claiming the hotel was fully booked. However, availability was clearly visible on their own official website at the same time. Misleading guests about availability to limit agreed services is extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on management. The staff members themselves are polite and courteous, but the hotel appears severely understaffed and poorly managed. Restaurant (Blue Coriander): The attached restaurant is heavily overpriced and not worth it. The biryani was bland, the chilli chicken had inconsistent flavours, and the other dishes we tried were below average. The pricing does not match the quality at all. Overall: This was a very underwhelming stay. Between the maintenance issues, poor service standards, and questionable handling of agreed booking terms, this is a 2-star experience at best. Would not recommend anyways due to the location, but for now unless significant improvements are made.

Rooms r good. But small maintenance issues immediately attended by Mr Prakash incharge. Front desk are very cordial Ms Lakshmi and Mr Nandalal are excellent. Food quality and dishes are very tasty. Mr Pawan chef personally enquire about guest needs and attended. His team is very good. I would like to mention that General manager is best I come accross. Mr Prakash waiting for us late in the night to ensure we settle comfortabley.

Excellent Stay Experience! My stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the service throughout was exceptional. The food was delicious with great variety and quality. Special thanks to Laxmi and sachin at the reception, who was very helpful and courteous he made sure all our needs were taken care of. The rest of the staff were equally polite and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, a great experience highly recommended! Rooms: 5/5 |

We were upgraded to suit room from club room. Room was spacious. But their is a problem with one room bathroom flush and lights and that was resolved promptly by staff. Staff behavior and hospitality was very good. Specially Mr. Shubham and RM, Mr. Govind. Front office Mr. Anish was cooperative and staff was sincere to resolve quickly. Also experienced restaurant room service. Service was fast and food tastes good.

The best hotel in town. In center location between town and tourist attraction. Rooms were clean and good. Pro tip- check room view before taking key. Staff is very helpful and kind. Always ready to assist. Food is of good quality and tasteful. Overall Experience- Superb
