Was here pre-Covid in 2020 and had the best experience staying at Diary Ohshibajima. The drive in to the unit was very scenic not to mention the view when you wake up every morning - can watch sunrise without getting out of bed. Highly recommended. It’s secluded for the tranquility you will experience that is unparalleled.

I came here in search of healing. The calm Seto Inland Sea stretches out before me, and there are tangerine orchards in the mountains behind. It was the perfect location for a quiet break. The only things I met on the island were two black cats and an old man in the tangerine orchard. It's a beautiful place where every angle is picturesque. I'll definitely come back.

This was our first time on Oshibajima Island, but our host was incredibly kind and gave us detailed directions by car, so we arrived with peace of mind. The room was very clean, and the view outside was truly wonderful. We were lucky enough to have good weather, and we enjoyed a beautiful moon at night and a breathtaking sunrise in the morning. It was a wonderful stay that our family of three truly enjoyed. Thank you very much!

I stayed here with my best friend for a short two-day, one-night getaway. We enjoyed delicious food and local sake with our Seto Inland Sea seafood plan – we were completely satisfied! After dinner, we relaxed in our lovely room and fully enjoyed the escape from everyday life. We woke up to a beautiful morning with the tranquil scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, and the refreshing potato salad at breakfast was so delicious I wanted to keep eating it forever! Thank you for such a wonderful time! I highly recommend this place for a well-deserved getaway for those with busy daily lives, or for a special anniversary trip with someone special!

My best friend and I stayed there together. One night, two meals included The Setouchi Seafood Feast Plan! A chef came to our room and prepared fresh dishes for us. The Setouchi fish were all incredibly fresh and plump, a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The meal was absolutely delicious. Our room was also beautiful. In the evening, my best friend and I lay on the sofa, gazing at the sea and chatting. The bed was just the right firmness, and the pillows were neither too hard nor too soft. We fell asleep instantly. For breakfast, we had an organic salad. The potato salad was refreshing and unlike anything I'd ever tasted—I wanted seconds! (o^^o) The potato soup from Akitsu was also exquisite. Everything was perfect. Even at check-out, they waved goodbye until our car was out of sight. We were able to spend a relaxing and enjoyable time meaningfully, and truly experience something out of the ordinary. Thank you very much.
