When we checked in we were told there was no hot water and they had booked us into their sister hotel (which was not a 5 star hotel!). Staff were apologetic and accommodating but it wasn’t a great experience and when we asked for a delayed check out (from 11 to 12) we were refused by the hotel we were in on the advice of the originally booked hotel. Because it was prepaid through Expedia there was nothing they were willing to do re refunding the difference in rooms. The breakfast was very good though - the only thing we got to experience at this hotel.

Lovely hotel, Large spacious rooms and the view was fantastic.

Perfect location between the medieval castle / town and the 'new town' (which is still hundreds of years old) with an exceptional view of the citadel and access over the river on a pedestrian bridge to a street full of bars and restaurants and a steep slope up to the walled town and many more shops, bars and restaurants. The room was excellent, with fabulous views, clean, very large comfortable bed and both a large walk in shower and deep bath, with a balcony overlooking the bridge. We had a minor issue with a drop in pressure in the shower which had been fixed by the time we got back to the room. Nice bar, and a fridge in the room. Modern stylish hotel we would happily go back to and recommend to others

This is the place to stay. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, will never disappoint. Great view of the castle from the outside back patio.

The hotel is perfectly located for visiting the castle and the cité. Our room was spacious, with very comfortable beds and a balcony with a beautiful view of the castle. I recommend they pay attention to more thorough cleaning.

Dinner staff were rude. Rooms were tired and worn. Rugs needed cleaning. Paid over $400 for this place and wasn’t worth it. Balcony overlooking the castle was nice. Location was very convenient.

We were overcharged- told a bottle of champagne was 60 euros when we purchased it and then they charged us 110 euros when we settled the bill. We raised it to the staff and the management but they would not honour what we had been told. I would not recommend people stay there.

Breakfast was amazing. The best.

We were very happy with our stay. Great location from which to visit the old and new city. Super friendly staff!! The room was large with a wonderful balcony overlooking the old city. Nice garden with areas to sit and sip wine. We would stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. However didn’t get a chance to experience all the facilities.

Our stay in hotel du Roí was excellent. We attribute our great stay to two of the staff members, the manager Yari and the restaurant manager Nicolas, both of these staff members made our stay wonderful. The hotel is exceptionally well located to visit the castle and the town. We also found the chefs food delicious and opted to eat at the hotel most nights.

This hotel is in a great location adjacent to the old bridge with spectacular views of the Cité Our room was well equipped and comfortable. Pool was well designed Overall a great stay
