If you're traveling by train, the Malioboro Prime Hotel could be a good choice for your stay. It's strategically located across from the train station and not far from Malioboro. Laundry and laundry services are also available, but they're quite expensive. The rooms are clean, though small. The bathrooms are separate, with a separate toilet and shower. They're not soundproof due to the noise from train doors and passing trains. However, you can view Mount Merapi from the room's window.

The room is small and does not match the price. The bathroom concept is strange. The toilet is separate, the shower is in a different room and the sink is separate. What's worse is that in the morning at 8 or 9 o'clock the room service goes back and forth carrying a very noisy trolley, not just 2 or 3 times but several times and it really disturbs our rest.

The place is comfortable, clean, and the facilities are also good, especially at night and in the morning, you can directly look out the window and see the view of the city center. It is highly recommended for those who want to vacation in Yogyakarta.

Early check-in wasn't possible; it had to be at 2:00. The lobby and restaurant looked like a new hotel, but the rooms were old, with very hard mattresses and worn pillows and pillowcases. The staff was friendly and the location was excellent.

I got a room that wasn't what I booked. I booked a room with a Merapi city view, but I was given a room on the 3rd floor with a view that I couldn't see. 😂 Then, when I checked in, the linens were dirty, so I had to ask the staff for a change. Otherwise, everything was fine.
