Very clean cabin, dog friendly but pay a bit extra. Shop and chip shop close by. Food also served in the pub but not breakfast. Can be noisy as pub puts on live music.

The room was quite large and very comfortable, with plenty of storage. It had a double bed and a single bed (we were in room 3). The steps up to the rooms were quite steep. There was used food in the fridge, which we mentioned to bar staff on a couple of occasions, but it was still not cleared during our stay.

Room was tidy with all the facilities you need, but even with a smaller double bed there was not much spare room. The WiFi was good - 85Mbps down & 60Mbps up. The bathroom unfortunately had the previous guest’s poo in the toilet, which was annoying but it flushed away easily. The bathroom door didn’t shut. Food in the restaurant was standard pub fare, but still very nice. No breakfast was available as staff were not on duty first thing.

Slightly odd, a sort of bender in the garden! Warm and comfortable though, good tea-making facilities

Fairly basic, bed not too comfortable but perfectly good enough for our overnight stay. Staff friendly and helpful but evening meal not good. Overall, a low cost for the area so a good budget option.

Arrived only 10 minutes early but were made to wait in the bar. Led up to our room along a corridor and stairs loaded with vacuum cleaners and coats. Light only came on when you had reached the top which left you in pitch black. First impressions of the room were, oh dear. But it was clean. Room had a king sized bed and a single, again, clean. Mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Bathroom has to be the smallest I've ever seen. Sink way too big, no room to dry yourself after a shower. Nice selection of tea and coffee but fridge had not been cleaned and had a puddle of milk in it.

Stayed in one of the pods for a weekend. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Kitchen was about to close when we arrived, but they still served us a meal which was lovely. Pod was easy to access, spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything we needed.

Great accommodation. The room was really quiet and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the addition of a mini fridge was really welcome. The staff at the pub were lovely and the food was great.

Perfect location for our needs for a one night stay, plenty of parking and a friendly welcome. Despite us arriving early the room was ready for us, and we enjoyed eating there in the evening. The room was spacious and accommodating, the bathroom less so.

This is not a very good or excellent place to stay. The room we stayed (room 1) was extremely basic. The bathroom door does not closed as it has been wet so many times that the wood as swollen. There is a dusty airing cupboard that is rammed with towels but it would not lock. Above the bed is a cupboard with all electric circuits for the pub, kitchen and rooms. Apart from being able to tamper with them, if something happens it is the only access point. The condition of the room and furniture is outdated and tired The landing is messy and the access unappealing. The shower is extremely primitive and has very little water pressure. Our room was directly above the pub and on the first night it got a bit noisy until midnight. It seems that the excellent ratings are for some pods outside the pub, but they are stand alone near the beer garden and brand new. The pub, surpirisngliy, does not provide breakfast and although our room had a ti y fridge and coffee and tea facilities, there is virtually no room to be able to have some sort of BYO breakfast. The only saving grace is that the staff were lovely.
