Arrived at this hotel hoping for a good night’s sleep after a long drive on a very hot day. It became apparent quickly though that the A/C in the room was not working effectively and with no window to open, the whole room was baking hot and impossible to cool down. In general the room was well kept and had all the amenities you would want, although one of the towels was stained. Due to arriving later in the evening, and knowing the hotel was fully booked because of the Uni Open Day we didn’t complain but made them aware the following morning where they said a note would be sent to maintenance. A shame to pay a not inconsolable amount for the tiom and have a very poor night’s sleep.

Arrived at 6 only to find our Room wasn’t ready. Totally infuriating

Friendly staff. Clean room. The room is perfect for two people, but gets cramped with three. When the sofa bed is unfolded, it is difficult to access the wardrobe or fridge. A downside is the £5 per night parking fee.

Clean, modern, friendly staff, very good for an overnight for work. Only downside is you have to pay for parking, it's only £5 but nonetheless it would be nice if it was included. Overall though would recommend

Clean, bright, modern hotel with no character. Interesting menu but slow service and mediocre quality in restaurant. Staff clearly trained to smile and be helpful but no enthusiasm!

Plenty of parking (£5 per day), clean and comfy room. Lovely bathroom. Coffee shop right next door. Nice breakfast also. Will stay again.

Beautiful hotel, clean, pleasant staff and very spacious. Rooms very comfortable and modern and it is situated on the campus of Keele University. We arrived pretty late as had been at an event during the day and were up early the next morning. Would definitely stay here again as the hotel has lots to offer. Managed a great sleep and the breakfast was great also. Staff brilliant at breakfast as well with my son's milk allergy, explained and checked everything and even go us some dairy alternative milks from the kitchen. The bar area looked great and there was a small gym too, unfortunately due to timings we didnt get to sample either which was a shame. All in all, very good stay!!

Always stay here when down from Scotland visiting family as it is such a handy location. Lots of parking and a very clean open feel to the whole place.

⭐ 1 Star – Highly overrated and extremely disappointing. This hotel’s rating does not reflect the reality we experienced. We booked with confidence based on the high score, reputation and premium pricing, but the standard delivered was far below expectations. From the first night, we experienced repeated flooding in one of the rooms. The issue was reported immediately and repeatedly to reception and management. Photos, videos and supporting evidence were provided. Despite multiple complaints, the flooding continued throughout our stay without proper cleaning, effective repair or permanent resolution. Instead of enjoying our holiday, we spent our time dealing with flooding, documenting evidence, chasing responses and trying to make basic facilities usable. The most disappointing aspect was the management. Despite having every opportunity to address the problem, no meaningful action was taken while we were staying at the hotel. A problem of this severity should never have remained unresolved for the entire duration of a guest’s stay. What happened at checkout was even worse. After days of disruption, stress, inconvenience, safety concerns and loss of use of essential facilities, the compensation proposed by management was completely out of proportion to the seriousness of the situation. I found the response insulting and dismissive of the impact this experience had on us. For a hotel charging premium rates and carrying such a high rating, the level of customer care, was poor

Everything was very good. Maybe the gym should be a bit bigger. The bed was very comfortable and AC.
