This hotel is nearly brand new, so it was by that nature very clean. For a short stay the room was fine - but if you're planning for several nights the quarters could get tight (thin cruise ship size). Lastly, the A/C in the room sounded like an airplane taking off every time it went into its shutdown cycle and early in the morning you could hear the water running through the pipes in all of the walls. In short, the room wasn't the quietest if you're looking for a serene night's sleep.

The temperature in the room was uncomfortable. The lowest the thermostat would is 66 and that was still too hot. The shower water was ice cold. Tried to call front desk from the phone in the room but it was so static that you couldn’t hear anything.

Proerty was clean and staff polite and efficient. Rooms were small but sufficient for a night's stay...overall, a solid hotel.

Staff was very nice. Very clean. I didn't do any research and didn't realize how very small and basic these rooms are. We like little amenities such as a closet and maybe a coffee machine

It was convenient and easy to access from the interstate. There were a lot of dogs there as it is pet friendly. There are floors without animals but we were not given that option. Our room smelled strongly of disinfectant at check-in but the hall could have used some freshening up. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast staff worked very hard (only 1 person) but selection was poor and pretty mediocre.

We had never stayed at an Avid hotel and decided to give it a try. FYI, there are many other hotels on this same road. The hotel appears to be fairly new and well maintained. Our room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well. The room does not include a coffee maker or microwave but there is coffee in the lobby and the usual type of hotel breakfast is available in the morning.
