Great location, staff were very helpful. Was a nice touch that they put on a free shuttle into Salcombe. They also provided complimentary gin and ice and slice which we thought made the stay even more unique.

Fab room with a very comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom. Very good continental breakfast with lots of choices. Good bar & great staff

The staff were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. On hearing we had a terrible cough they even arranged for lemon and honey to be sent up to the room for us. All in all an excellent holiday.

An excellent hotel in a great location. An hourly shuttle connects it to the sister hotel in the centre of Salcombe. Breakfast is good, if having to pay an extra £10 for a cooked one is slightly irritating. Gym and Spa are also good.

What is a very beautiful hotel was marred by our experience before we’d even checked in. Having been seated for lunch it took 26minutes (yes I counted) to be even acknowledged let alone offered a menu or a drink etc. the restaurant wasn’t that busy and there were several staff just walked past us. Then when I told reception they basically ignored us. Then we got to our again beautiful room to be greeted by a huge stain on the carpet, before a random Member of staff opened our door unannounced when we were getting changed. Pool/spa facilities were very nice and the bed was very comfy. I’d stay again but 100% would avoid the restaurant, the winking prawn is a 10min walk away which serves incredible food and equally good service.

This is a hotel in a perfect location. It is so beautiful to look into the bay and so wonderful to be able to go on the most incredible coastal walks from the doorstep. Great to take the boat to Salcombe and explore from there. The room was lovely, but we were on the ground floor and looked out onto the bay, but also the decked area; so it wasn't very private. The

We stayed at Harbour Hotel in Padstow and ate in the restaurant two nights during our stay. Then the same for Harbour Hotel in Salcombe. if you’re looking for a food experience then Padstow wins hands down. I would rate the food in Salcombe as good but Padstow is another level or two up; perhaps it’s the Rick Stein effect………

This was a much needed and most welcome stop over whilst walking the South Hams Way. A fantastic hotel with lovely staff and great facilities. We will certainly be back.

The view from our balcony room of South Sands was fabulous. The continental breakfast was very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Room overlooking the beach, very spacious & clean. Good soundproofing our sleep was not disturbed by other guests. Used the pool and sauna all very clean & very helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely continental selection, lots of fresh fruit. Restaurant had a stunning view of the beach, would've like some lighter options for lunch and dinner. Mini bus was a great little added extra for getting to and from the edge of town. Very helpful staff eager to help.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at harbour beach hotel and spa. Breakfast and dinner food very good 👌 and staff very cheerful and friendly. Really appreciated the complimentary shuttle bus into Salcombe 😀

Absolutely fantastic hotel with great staff. I think it’s my new favourite place to stay! Room was beautiful, spa was a really nice size with indoor and outdoor seating areas. The restaurant is really gorgeous with the most beautiful view of the sea. Food was great and reasonably priced and all the staff were friendly. We will definitely return.

Amazing stay, really helpful staff, great food and room. Hotel is located in an amazing bay, but the roads are quite narrow and hilly, but you can get i to town by hotel minibus or ferry . Would definitely go again

Our favourite UK Hotel and destination ..

An impressive modern hotel in an amazing position on South Sands, only a narrow road stands between it and an excellent beach. The views across to the far shore are truly spectacular. Access is down a very narrow road with passing places. ( typical of this part of Devon). Friendly and welcoming staff. Large and well equipped bedrooms. Beautiful coastal walks from the door.
