Cleaning policy is every other day. However, this was not shared at the time of check in. When I inquired about having the garbage removed, I learned of the policy. Front desk offered excuses and a very casual demeanor to my request. Eventually, the hotel said they’d send someone up. No one came to pick up the garbage that evening. I even separated the bag from the can to make it easier. When hotel room service resumed the next day, it was picked up. The previous crew waited for house cleaning to pick it up the next afternoon. Absolutely unacceptable!

Great stay!

This is the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect. Walkable to great restaurants, museums, downtown etc. The hotel itself was immaculate. The lobby is beautiful and very welcoming staff. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very nice especially the omelette. I loved everything about this hotel.

Excellent Stay, Friendly Staff....

What's not to like? Pretty new hotel; parking connects directly into the hotel. Wanna feel safe? They're across the street from the police station. Staff was cheerful and helpful. But the BEST thing about the hotel was the easy 2-3 block walk -- at most -- to many breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and what not. Just a delightful discovery, and we had no idea -- we had just booked it because we like Hampton Inns and thought it looked convenient for an event we had to attend. But both the hotel and the area around it vastly exceeded our expectations.

The lobby smelled amazing when I walked in. Check-in was fast and easy. The room looked and smelled fresh and clean as well.

Easy checkin. Good convenient parking but at a fee! Staff, room, pool, breakfast all ok. Interesting that the front door always locked so must have some security issues? Bathroom door stuck. So had to rescue my daughter every time she used it, reported to desk, so hopefully it gets fixed. Reasonable price relative to other options and very convenient to walk to everything downtown Beware - railroad very noises and runs all night so expect to be woken up!

A sufficient sun-blocking shade would be helpful. That helps in getting a good night sleep. Otherwise it was a great stay!!

The check in process was great with the hotel staff. Hotels.com is not the place to book this property through. I will not be using hotels.com anymore to book. We booked through this site for 2 rooms and only one got actually booked with the property. The hotel staff was great in assisting us with adding the second room. Ended up getting refund from hotels.com - Book this property directly.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We've stayed a lot of places but we will definitely be repeat customers here.

I am so glad I chose The Hampton Inn Greensboro as a stopping point on a recent road trip. It was convenient travelling with a pet, the parking was right near your room. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is a good start to the day. This hotel offered everything a guest would want; restaurant, pool, bar, pet-friendly, clean, and includes a friendly staff.

Everything was great. I enjoy the overnight stay.
