The room was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I chose this room type specifically because it has a private plunge pool with hot spring water, so you could enjoy the sunrise with the beautiful view or warm yourself up in the evening. This accommodation also had a disclaimer about the flies, so if you really don't like them, it's not the accommodation's fault; that's just the way it is in the whole region of Kintamani due to the onion plantations. An improvement would be the placement of the toilet. It was placed in the corner after the shower with no partition, so everything got wet. The pancakes for breakfast weren't really good; they tasted chalky, maybe too much baking powder. The American breakfast was good. We also ordered Mujair Nyat-Nyat and Ayam Betutu for dinner; these were really good and we got big portions. We also did the Lava Tour with the Jeep. The price was a bit steep, Rp 650,000 for 2-3 hours driving through the villages then around the foot of Mount Batur. They also offer a sunrise tour; maybe that would be more worth the price. Overall, we would stay there again in the future.

I had a memorable stay at The Dewi Kintamani. The views are breathtaking. There are plenty of aesthetic photo spots. The rooms are comfortable, but there are flies, but not many (due to the proximity to the plantation). One downside is that the alley leading to the hotel is very narrow and unsightly. I'd recommend improving access.

This place is indeed beautiful and boasts attractive facilities. However, unfortunately, the quality of service we received fell far short of the expected hospitality standards. Our experience with a sales representative named Indah was one of the worst we've ever had. Unclear communication, slow responses, minimal effort to find solutions, and a lack of accountability made us feel neglected as guests. Every problem that arose felt like it was made more difficult, not helped to resolve. In the hospitality business, service is the foundation. No matter how luxurious the facilities are, they mean nothing if guests have to deal with unprofessional service that isn't focused on customer satisfaction. It's a shame because this place has so much potential. However, our bad experience has diminished any positive impression we could have had. Management needs to seriously evaluate the quality of its human resources and service standards, as one incompetent staff member can ruin a reputation built over years.

Yesterday, I chose a family room, but it was quiet, with no one else nearby. I ended up upgrading to a suite, which cost me an additional 350,000 Rupiah, plus an additional 175,000 Rupiah for children, making me quite broke. The room was okay, but it turned out there was no TV.
