I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and offered a nice view. The staff was very friendly and helpful which made the stay even better. Room service was quick and everything I ordered tasted great — really fresh and well-prepared. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights, with plenty of variety and different items every day, which kept it interesting. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I’d recommend to others.

Options in Breakfast were not good. Quality of good served were below par. Even bakery products were not fresh Local taxi took more time to come to lobby. Hotel location is not great.

Hotel is nice and far away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre which is a blessing. Rooms are nice but the beds are uncomfortable as it sinks in too much. The use of plastic bottles in rooms in greatly disappointing

The staff were exceptionally helpful, specifically Priya Sharma (Cafe) and Akshay, Akash, Monica and Prem (Front Desk). The view from the roof top lounge is incredible. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We would stay at this hotel again.

The staff is fairly accommodating, although we had a hard time communicating in English. Plenty of hot water for showers and comfortable beds. Rooms are beautiful and clean. However, I had problems with the food and got food poisoning after two days of staying there and had to travel home sick. Also, the Wi-Fi is not dependable and TV is only for local. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The internet didnt work the entire time. Staff kept making the excuses. I have the videos of it as well. They gave us standard room which was on higher floor and way better than the premium one i booked. They never cared to give us the money difference back since we ended up opting for a standard room.

Dinner buffet is really good. February temperature in the room with central heat was good. Hot water - plenty with central heating. Rooms are cosy and clean. Lobby, hallways not heated in the winter (story of the whole region), so you are stuck between room and restaurant. Upstairs is a nice bar on the roof top with pool table. Very quite in hotel. Nowhere to walk from it, hills are steap- in the same.time it's a great location - its peaceful . You need to take taxi to main Street and Dalai Lama monastery (500 rupees). Swimming pool is unusable. Not heated. Cold. Breakfast buffet was good.

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Had some trouble staying connected to the WiFi in our room and eventually turned off WiFi and used cellular data. But the room was great, kept neat and clean, and the food was good. Enjoyed a couples massage that topped off the trip.

Awesome stay..Loved City and Hotel....

Don't let the name fool you. This could easily be a Vivanta, Taj or Hyatt. It is run like a 4 star property. The staff have an incredible "can do" attitude for even the most challenging requests. I was very impressed as a westerner - especially as Best Westerns are not exactly 4stars in the US. Super plus points on the shower which was never ending hot with exceptional pressure. Amenities, views and rooftop terrace sets this property apart from everything in Mcleod Ganj
