Great hotel, very safe and convenient area. Lots to do, restaurants and beach is a just a short walk away. The staff is friendly and helpful

We had a great stay at Flamingos. Our apartment was clean, spacious and we had plenty of room. Some parts of the venue are a little tired and the bathroom could do with some refurbishment but overall, for the price, we were very happy. We arrived late after the reception had closed but the hotel staff made sure we knew how to access our apartment. The beaches are just a few minutes walk away and there is a small shop nearby too. The town is a short taxi ride away

Flamingos apartment complex is close to the beach, a short walk to a bus stop to take you to Chania, 15 minutes walk away from two supermarkets and there are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The complex is thoughtfully designed and kept beautifully. Every morning a team of ladies would be sweeping and cleaning the paths. Our apartment was looked after by a lovely lady called Louisa. The sheets and towels were changed every few days and the apartment cleaned everyday. We had an apartment with a beautiful terrace that we spent as much time on as we could - it was quiet and breezy and had fantastic views of the sea and the White Mountains. Our apartment was large and the beds were comfortable. The staff were brilliant at Flamingos - always happy to help.

Very helpful and friendly hotel staff who went over and above to ensure we all enjoyed our holiday. The service and standard of accommodation was first class and I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel as an excellent choice for a family holiday. A number of excellent beaches and good tavernas are all within a few minutes walk.

Unser Aufenthalt im Flamingos Hotel war leider enttäuschend. Das erste Zimmer, das uns zugewiesen wurde, war in sehr schlechtem Zustand: Die Möbel waren stark veraltet, viele Einrichtungsgegenstände defekt und die Stromleitungen wirkten unsauber und wenig vertrauenswürdig. Nach unserer Beschwerde wurde uns ein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Dieses war zwar etwas moderner, wies jedoch ebenfalls zahlreiche Mängel auf – auch hier waren mehrere Dinge beschädigt oder funktionierten nicht richtig. Das Frühstück war insgesamt mittelmäßig. Brot und Brötchen waren nicht frisch, und auch die übrigen Speisen konnten geschmacklich nicht überzeugen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Umgebung: Die Strände in der Nähe sind wunderschön und es gibt einige sehr gute Restaurants in der Gegend, die den Aufenthalt zumindest außerhalb des Hotels angenehm gestalten. Besonders irritierend ist die Bewertung von 8.9 bei Expedia die wir in keiner Weise nachvollziehen können. Auch die Bilder auf der Buchungsseite entsprechen nicht den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Ich kann das Flamingos Hotel aufgrund der Zimmerqualität und des mangelhaften Frühstücks leider nicht empfehlen.
