We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Monja. The staff was exceptional very friendly, attentive, and always polite. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, spotless, and kept very clean throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is another huge advantage. It’s within walking distance of great restaurants, the main plaza, and the beautiful cathedral, making it easy to explore the city. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Hotel La Monja to anyone visiting Durango. We look forward to staying here again!

This is the place to stay every year when I come visit family in Durango. My kids love it!! Always a great experience.

Gran servicio, me trataron de manera muy amable y todo estaba perfecto, nos recibieron temprano y cuidaron nuestras maletas, las instalaciones no son modernas pero no esperaba que lo fueran, mi abuela quedó encantada con todo, la comida era rica pero repetitiva y está súper bien ubicado, realmente lo recomiendo si te quieres desconectar y al mismo tiempo no estar perdido del todo 😌

Unfortunately, I was not able to stay for breakfast due to having to leave early. However, overall the service, condition and location are excellent. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel moving forward. Additionally, I will recommend it to my business associates and family members.

Check in was easy, staff was so helpful and polite. Room was nice and clean. Housekeeping cleaned each day. Free breakfast was included. I had chorizo, beans, and chilaquiles with some coffee. Hotel is surrounded by great food and shops. It has a coffee shop downstairs where you can grab a coffee, sandwich or a sweet bread. Absolutely loved my stay and plan on returning.

Perfect location right in the heart of downtown Durango. Lots of cute coffee shops and the one in the hotel was open until 11 pm. Right across from the cathedral and less than 2 minute walk to plaza de armas. Museums and lots of food options around. Definitely would return and stay here again. Breakfast had limited options but nonetheless it was tasty. Same items served daily with no fruits or pastries.

Everyone in the staff was very kind and helpful. The property was very clean. You’re right in the middle of the city center so you’ve got museums, attractions, restaurants, and stores nearby all at walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay. Very clean. Right in the heart of the city. The only downside is parking lot not connected to hotel. You have to walk around the street to get to the lobby.
