Ideal location, few minute walk from Genova Brignole and short walk ti the action downtown. It was our first visit to Genoa and we were very comfortable walking from Hotel Astoria to the waterfront and all the best restaurant and shopping districts. Major shout out to Simoné. He made our check in and check out experience amazing. We were only able to stay for one night but he made us feel like Penthouse guests staying for weeks! Highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Genoa solely based on the experience Simoné provided.

Close to the train station, clean and spacious room, and friendly/helpful staff. Beautiful elevator. Stocked mini-bar. I will for sure stay here again when I come to visit with the family. Gorgeous room furniture and high ceilings. Nice touch with the slippers and walk-in closet. Hotel is just a few minutes from the train station and very close to restaurants and cafes, but still away from the crowds. Perfect!!! Good price for the quality!!!

The property is new and very clean. The amenities are nice. Simone was super friendly and helped us with many questions. Honestly, the rest of the staff, not so much. The area is nice for walking around despite the busy traffic. Everything closes at 8 except fine restaurants that you need a reservation for. Highly recommend the hotel but don’t think we’ll return Genoa.

I will always stay here in Genoa. Get off Brignole train station. Hotel is 1200 meters from station- but a world away. On arrival greeted by name, simple streamlined registration. Room large, airy; large windows w 100% blackout curtains. Nice bathroom and dressing area. Nice balance bt soft and firm mattress. Didn't love pillows. Breakfast was good, hot food and continental with some regional specialties. Easy routes to any sites of interest. Pharmacy next door, GREAT restaurant family operated; "Stallone" 2 blocks away. Open latish. Meticulous housekeeping. Uniformly helpful and pleasant desk personnel. 10 minute walk to shopping. 15-20 minutes to the old port. Bus stop across street. Two older women we felt very safe at all hours. I am unreservedly enthusiastic about this hotel experience.

Really handy for the train station (Genova Brignole). Staff were great. Breakfast was really excellent. Loved the old fashioned lift - made the stay feel quirky and authentic. Room was lovely and clean. Perfect, thank you.

Wonderfully renovated and furnished property. High quality tile, bedding, fixtures and surprisingly large rooms and baths. I stayed in a superior double. The location is somewhat far from areas of interest. But almost everything is reached within 20 minute walk. Highly recommended.

Staff were helpful, building was historical but modern, buffet breakfast offered a variety of foods and the quality was great. It was a very pleasant stay.

The staff were extremely Lu attentive, kind and helpful. The room had all the necessary amenities. The location of the hotel is excellent. At first I thought the traffic noise would be a problem, but it was not. I would stay there again.

This is an excellent hotel that’s walking distance from everywhere you want to go in Genoa. My room was large with a beautiful, large bathroom, and everything I needed. It was also very clean. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I strongly recommend Hotel Astoria!
