Every room having a balcony - good. Good size rooms. Limited choice on breakfast buffet for a week - the same food every day. Reception staff helpful with any questions. Daily had to keep requesting for towels as when the room was serviced, no towels were left. Unfortunately in the bar on floor 2, some guests/visitors were given good service when others were not. Some people came into the bar eating and were asked to leave. Others were not asked to leave -this does not seem fair.

The breakfast was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel's location is very central and close to the old city.

The hotel is old for sure, but has character. The rooms are clean, comfy beds. The lobby is beautiful. Amazing pool, jacuzzi and a beautiful terrace for sunbathing and enjoying the views of the city from the 22nd floor. Located in old city centre close to amazing restaurants. Safe and staff is amazing. Definitely recommend to stay here

Very central, very need underground station. Building old and tired, rooms meed refurbishing Fridge did not work, have to climb over large bathtub to shower. Breakfast lots of choice, not very good quality. Good for 1 or 2 nights

Very clean and quiet room, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice breakfast, friendly staff, clean pool with a nice view patio. Great restaurant and bar. Super easy location close to everything.

Its a nice hotel with a lovely front entrance , small bar . Its needs updating.

Enjoyed a 5 day break in Bucharest in the Grand Hotel. Very good location close to the Old Town. The 100 airport bus stops across from the hotel. The room is adequate, very comfortable twin beds, although the high bath/ shower may be difficult to access if you have mobility issues. large tv in the room. No table or chairs on the balcony. Very good indoor pool and gym. A poor point is the breakfast.... Minute plates, grilled breakfast was mostly cold each morning. Staff were very helpful and resolved a noise issue to my satisfaction. All in all, a very good hotel, but I wouldn't say 5*.

Great stay

Amazing spot in downtown - I wish I had longer to stay but very accommodating and I loved the 12pm checkout and buffet breakfast till 11am on the weekend!

Centrally located hotel, and conveniently within walking distance to the old town. Views from the room were great (above 10th floor). Breakfast options were plentiful. Lovely stay while we were in Bucharest.

Excellent central location, walk to Old Town and University Square, front desk staff extremely helpful, superb Romanian restaurant for dinner, classy rooms with balconies - loved our stay!!!

Breakfast was modest. There was really heavy sewage smell in our room.

Great hotel in a great location. Steps away from the metro though we never left the immediate area so I can't comment on how teaveling that line is. Hotel room was spacious and the balcony provided a great view. The pool at the top gives a breathtaking look over the city.

Superb, centrally located hotel close to the old town. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable and we also had a great view of the city from our balcony! Staff were very nice and looked after us when required - would highly recommend
