Want to feel like Royalty? Stay here. What an amazing hotel. The decor, hospitality, and staff were bar none. Took a taxi from the Main Train station to the hotel and though you can’t get up right to the door (pedestrian zone) they are more than willing to meet you to help at the corner. The room was incredible with a separate walk in closet and free drinks in their fridge. We arrived late at night and they kept the kitchen open for us. Food was delicious at the restaurant. Breakfast was also outstanding as you order from a menu. Every morning they also gave us three patisseries to try. I can’t rave enough about this hotel. A/C worked great and we were comfortable all the time. They made dinner reservations at two of the restaurants they recommended for us and these were also special places. The coolest part you were one block from the Trevi Fountain so you can get there before the crowds. All in all, don’t hesitate to stay here.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and prime location.

When I began researching for our Rome trip I quickly became overwhelmed with so many options. Luckily the Michelin guide led me to Maalot Roma. From the moment we booked their staff was kind, courteous, and went above and beyond to accommodate our every want or request. The in house concierge was phenomenal at arranging airport transportation, booking tours, and making restaurant reservations. I cannot state enough how professional and kind everyone at the hotel was. The breakfast each day was top notch and I cannot wait to go back. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is a 5-10 minute walk from all of the major attractions and world class dining. The hotel bar makes excellent drinks. The rooms are very quiet and the blackout curtains they use are phenomenal especially when you are traveling from a far away time zone and trying to adjust your sleep schedule. The bathroom is also highly luxurious. TLDR; amazing upscale hotel ran by even better people.

Hotel Maalot was not only close to many of the main sights in Rome, it was such a lovely place to come back to each evening! The rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful, seeming to know what we needed before we even knew. And don't miss the restaurant: the food and service are top notch! We will definitely return.

My stay at Maalot Hotel was nothing short of excellent. The hotel perfectly balances elegance, comfort, and a warm boutique atmosphere right in the heart of Rome. The rooms are beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully detailed, making it easy to relax after a long day exploring the city. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. Edwin deserves special recognition for his exceptional professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—always attentive, proactive, and welcoming, with a rare level of hospitality that makes you feel truly valued as a guest. Breakfast is an order-based presentation. The room is quite formal and attractive, but I would prefer a buffet and a less formal environment. The hotel is 160 meters from the Trevi Fountain, and the area around the hotel is literally packed with people. It isn't pleasant. The hotel staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Dinner at the hotel is very expensive compared with other high-end restaurants. The suite we were in had blond wood stairs from the bedroom to the master bathroom. They are unmarked and very dangerous. This needs attention. Otherwise, the hotel is first class.

Easily the best hotel experience I’ve had lately. Exceptional service made me feel like a queen for one night. Perfect pillows, beautiful drapery, gorgeous marble bathrooms, lovely millwork in the closet. Sound proof and pitch black. Little things just worked perfectly here like the complex light switches that usually drive me insane in other places. And a very nice gym with high quality equipment (simple but quite good as far as boutique hotel gyms go). Admittedly the aesthetic of the main room didn’t attract me but the hotel is too good to mind something like that. If I ever choose to brave the overtourism of rome again I will be back.

Best hotel experience in italy. They truly catered to provide an exceptional experience for guests. They gave is excellent restaurants recommendations in the area. excellent location for shopping. Don pasquale restaurant inside hotel has a limited menu but all food options were amazing, especially tha pasta amatriciama amd carbonara.
