Great hotel located next to M40. Rooms were fantastic looked as though everything new, shower was excellent. Despite being located right next to M40 didn’t hear anything. Charged for parking but wasn’t too expensive. Located next to Waitrose which was great. Breakfast included and was very good, excellent choice of cereals, cooked food, cold meats/ cheese, pastries , fruit, yoghurt, juice , hot drinks and waffles. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend as a base for visiting the area.

This is my favourite budget-friendly hotel to stay at in the UK. This is my second stay and this time it was during a heatwave, so I really appreciated the a/c. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The showers are powerful, the beds could be more comfortable, but they will do. The hotel is a two minute walk from a massive Waitrose supermarket and the rooms come equipped with a mini fridge to store whatever you need to. The included breakfast looks absolutely adequate, but I didn't eat it as I could BMO. The gym is great and the room was ready early. What more could you ask for.

Excellent value for money with breakfast included. The bed linen was fresh and clean and generally clean but slidiing door to ensuite was very hand marked, the window sill needed a good wipe and lower part of large mirror a better clean. For the price and general overall experience of the stay these would just be areas I would focus on.

Unfortunately there at the same time as a group of feral kids with a complete lack of parenting taking place. Lounge area was turned into a play park, sofas into an obstacle course and football being played in the bedroom corridors.

Very friendly, helpful staff the breakfast was excellent plenty of well prepared food both hot and cold. As an elderly person I was not keen to sit on (what I thought) very low chairs at the table. But generally everything was great I will definitely be going again as I have friends in the area.

Very new hotel, steps from a Waitrose which was really convenient. Great breakfast with good selection (hot and cold). Very large lobby area that's a good social spot it seemed. Good location between Oxford and London. Staff friendly overall. Room was in great condition, comfortable.

Nicely equipped rooms. The fridge was an unexpected thing. Good soundproofing and couldn't hear the traffic on the motorway a few metres away.

Appropriate for the price, staff pleasant.

Great hotel with parking. Only issue was with one coffee machine in use Ran out of coffee, then ran out of cups. Gave up queuing and waiting.

As usual this stay was fantastic! The hotel is super clean and the staff do everything they can and more to help. Greeted by our fave member of staff Gary, and helped to our room with our bags. Breakfast was always well stocked and the staff were always willing to help show you how to make self serve waffles and get anything special required for dietary requirements. Will be going again next year!

My room was downgraded from king size to queen without any reimbursement. initially I was told on the first night (after driving 200 miles) that the rooms were being refurbished, the second day I asked for a king size and was told they had overbooked, I booked this room 6 months in advance so I was pretty annoyed at this, due to it being for my daughters 21st birthday - I’ve asked for a refund but as yet I’ve had no further communication. The queen size bed is very small but comfortable and the free breakfast is very nice but never had I had a room downgraded before !! The dining room is in the lobby and lounge of hotel a bit quirky
