Didn’t like having no surround around shower/bath. Bathroom needs up grading

Wonderful place to stay and a beautiful location! Loved every moment!

The effort to make each set of rooms feel time authentic yet have all the mod cons was amazing. We had dinner, a three course set meal which offered great choice and excellent food, service and all round experience. Would definitely return a d recommend to all.

We booked a romantic room but instead received the key of a completely different room. It wasn’t expected. The bed was comfortable but the bedroom atmosphere was cold. I would suggest to install some draperies and a large rug to make it more appealing at least. We enjoyed the breakfast and service in the morning. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday but we made reservations at a lovely restaurant down the street called vert vert. It was excellent.

Unique suite and so calm. Absolutely delicious dinner!! Note: the pool is closing early in the evening (8pm) which is unfortunate for the late arrivals.

This is a special property! Dog and family friendly, food was superb and atmosphere is so peaceful. The pool area is very nice and we'll thought put. Special touches everywhere. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure!

Very nice stay. Property is very charming and certainly rural and quiet. Restaurant very good for dinner. Breakfast was ok. Bed very good. Bathroom a little dated.

Friendly staff, great location.

We had a two night stay and enjoyed it but no kettle or tv in our room seemed a bit odd. Like most of France arriving on a Sunday makes it hard to find any where to eat the same on Monday night. We found it a good base to explore the chateau’s of the Loire area

This place is fabulous. I highly recommend having dinner and breakfast on site. We only did our last day but wished we had from the beginning. We'd like to go back for a longer stay in the future.

Outstanding facilities, and location was excellent for a wider regional exploration as well as a useful stop off. The room, the staff and the facilities were ideal and i would recommend to anybody. There were also very pet friendly - as was most of France. Also the covid measures were sensible

this was everything an American tourist thinks a charming french hotel should be. Overflowing with history yet with a modern bathroom. Very nice people.

This was an amazing experience. The rooms were beautifully crafted and the bed as good as home. We dined in the stylish restaurant. The proprietor of the hotel was also the chef. An incredible meal that I hold as one of my favourites. We highly recommend.

Owner could not speak English. I don't expect everyone to speaks English but when hosting guests it is important for someone to be able to speak to the guests. there is a restaurant there but no menu - we couldn't find out what was going to be served so had to leave and have dinner elsewhere. we had advised we wanted breakfast between 8-8.30am. no one was about at 8.10 so we waited till 8.30 and still no one was around. we ended up leaving and had to get breakfast elsewhere.

This is the most charming place! Surrounded by the incredible Loire Valley! We loved our breakfasts and dinners here. Can not wait to come back.
