Fantastic hotel, great staff, beautiful building, well maintained, clean & well equipped.

Cant fault the property at all just except for the beds was not very comfortable,but everything else was amazing.

Perfect stay. Recommend the Junior suite with Balcony. Lovely staff. Great restaurant. Bed was comfy.

Lovely reception staff, friendly, helpful, asked questions to then recommend things to me proactively-the people do make the difference & they’re doing it right here! Room was very nice-soft bedding & very comfortable bed, great shower, nice looking bath if I’d been staying longer. A few errant hairs from previous occupants but in good condition & very clean otherwise-I’m not annoyed in any way-hairs do happen on cleaning cloths etc-I had no doubt this room had been very well cleaned. Great for loads of local shops & restaurants & right next to principality stadium-I’ve now got a hotel I will look forward to staying in whenever I’m in Cardiff.

I wanted to share a review of the wonderful experience I had during my stay last night. As someone who works in hospitality, I’d say I’m probably fussier than most and Parkgate certainly had a strong reputation to live up to - but it absolutely delivered. Every member of staff I encountered was polite, friendly, approachable, and incredibly attentive. From the doorman to reception, the waiting staff in The Sorting Room and cocktail bar, as well as room service and the spa team - everyone contributed to making my stay so enjoyable. I only wish I could thank each of them personally and I hope this review is passed on. I did try to take note of a few names. There was a lovely lady on reception at the spa who arranged my booking, and Lucy, my therapist, who was exceptional. She was warm, professional, and attentive throughout - regularly checking in to ensure I was comfortable. It was genuinely one of the most relaxing massages I’ve ever had. At afternoon tea Nicola and Massimiliano (I think) in the restaurant couldn’t have been more accommodating, it was both filling and beautifully presented. While the room itself was lovely, it was truly the staff and overall experience that made my stay so memorable. I’ll absolutely be recommending the Parkgate and look forward to returning. Thank you again to the entire team.

The Parkgate Hotel is well-situated, and a beautiful hotel. Their breakfast was delicious, and the rooms are comfortable and modern. It is a bit tricky because there is no place to pull up in front of the hotel to drop off or pick up guests and luggage, but that seems to be pretty standard in Cardiff. The location of this hotel can't be beat for those attending events at Principality Stadium.

Very nice hotel. We booked it to use the hot tub while we were there. We were disappointed to learn that there was a steep charge to enter and you had to make a reservation which gave you an hour. Overall, the hotel was in an excellent location but without parking. The luggage drop off is also tricky. The breakfast buffet was huge.

Totally recommend, wish we could have stayed longer, the most perfect location to the city everywhere in walking distance yet the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Our room was facing the front yet never bothered by noise of traffic or people. Would happily stay again.

The property is excellent , food in the restaurant superb especially the evening meal. We were served by Massimiliano who was friendly and attentive k, professional without being over the top or stuffy and pretentious - his style suited us perfectly and made for a very enjoyable evening. With no parking very close by dropping luggage off in the rain was tricky. We if possible I would travel my train and with a little less luggage as a result of this. The spa is excellent albeit a little expensive and limited to 90 mins but it is quite small so this controls the numbers in there at anyone time to a comfortable amount and ensures a peaceful experience. Rooms facing the road can be a little noisy with late night revellers on a Friday and Saturday but not too disruptive. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Excellent hotel possibly the best in Cardiff. Great food, cocktail bar, great rooms what's not to love about this hotel. We'll be back.
