From someone who travels to Europe multiple times a year, this has been my favorite stay so far. I would stay here every time I return to Rioja. The hotel is stunning. The room was cozy and elegant. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Never heard noise from other guests. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is lovely and delicious. My husband and I normally don't eat breakfast but after seeing the spread, we had to try it and it was phenomenal. It was like having a little breakfast pintxos crawl right at our hotel. The town is very quaint and beautiful so we took a stroll everyday. Briones was the perfect location in between Haro and Logroño and Santa Maria Briones was an absolute gem. Can't recommend this place enough!

Wonderful buffet and you can order eggs if you want. The reception staff is great and they can give you great suggestions in the region. The restaurant Allegar is wonderful!

It was an excellent stop over in La Rioja. The town itself is incredibly gorgeous and charming. Note if you're there during a weekday, it's dead but that's anywhere in the countryside in Spain. We were there on a Tuesday and it was empty but that made even more magical. Great hotel and service.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful restored boutique hotel.

An unique property in a stunning location. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Restaurants serve amazing food with excellent value. Breakfast was one of a kind with tapas tasting.

Loved this hotel. Excellent service. Beautiful village and impeccable rooms. So appreciated the little touches like the turndown service and staff produced olive oil to buy.

Great all around. Staff is super nice and friendly. Very attentive. Two things I would fix. 1) air conditioning is not strong enough. 2) Allegra restaurant closed two days in a row can create instance where guests staying for two nights cannot eat there AND also closed on same nights as neighboring restaurants. Makes no sense.

By far my favorite place I have ever stayed. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The hotel was immaculate and felt so high end. From the attention to detail in the room, to the attentiveness of the staff, to the Michelin star restaurant located IN THE HOTEL. Make sure to set your alarm because you will not want to miss out on breakfast either. The town is small and has a strong feel of community. It is located amongst about 600 wineries in the area.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Not only because of the cleanliness but because of the staff who went above and beyond. I will come back for sure!
