Excellent location and very well run and maintained. If a hotel gym is imoortant to you this is best one I’ve ever seen.

Excellent accommodations and services in a great location to access all Oslo has to offer with transportation at your doorstep. Breakfast was amazing as well!

Great atmosphere. Excellent location! Steps away from the palace and right at the National Theatre train station with direct connection to the airport. So easy! Life music in the sprawling restaurant. Very quiet room. Delicious , elaborate breakfast including a gluten-free selection of bread and cakes. Very friendly reception!

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Sommerro. The staff is attentive and helpful, and we were very pleased with the amenities in our room. The location is excellent with easy parking and all of downtown Oslo's attractions are just a short walk away. That all being said - you could disregard all that and just stay here for the breakfast alone. Hosted in their beautiful art deco bar, walking into the buffet area feels like entering the Chocolate Room in Willy Wonka's factory...never in my life have I seen such a spread. In addition to the most amazing selection of meats/cheeses/granola/fruit/parfaits I have ever seen, their short-order chefs are standing by to create all manner of hot delights (I recommend the eggs Royale.). It is not to be missed.

Amazing staff and beautiful decor! The gym and spa area were amazing as was the daily breakfast. We ate dinner in their restaurant and the food and wine selection were great. We will 100% stay here again next time we are in Oslo

Wonderful stay! The only let down was the rogue taxi driver that ripped me off on the way to the hotel. Can’t wait to go back!

Great hotel with amazing breakfast

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The restaurant was amazing, and the sauna and pool were exactly what I needed to unwind after a long flight. Even though I was traveling for business, I loved how central the location was—everything downtown was just a short walk away. I’d absolutely stay here again.

This is a great Hotel! The staff was amazing and so attentive. We loved everyone from the gentlemen who met us and helped us with our luggage, to the reception staff, and everyone we met was so pleasant and really enjoyed being there. Would stay here again but will try a couple more days as we didn’t get to see enough. Almost forgot the breakfasts - out of this world, and main restaurant for drinks and dinner exceptional. Also ate at Ahaan again great food and drinks we ate at the bar very lovely too!

This is definitely a luxury hotel. Lovely service and art deco design. The bar and breakfast on site were lovely. Rooftop service was slow but food and drinks were good. It’s pricey but it you can, it’s worth a stay.
