25 walk from the Dom. hotel was a bit too automated for our liking, although the staff were excellent. Tea and coffee only available is a booth on each floor, with a precarious hot water dispenser, I burned my finger. Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and plenty of them. Could do with comfier chairs in the bar/restaurant. Nice selection at breakfast.

Pleasant stay

Very cute hotel with a ton of character and charm. Extremely friendly staff al hours of the day/night. Bar in lobby is nice as well and lively. Never having been to cologne before, the location was perfect and allowed me to see everything I wanted in a short stay. Many many good restaurants in a short walking distance. Area was lively at night, and hotel felt safe. Only thing was the room had a semi private bathroom, due to design, but we figured it out and enjoyed thoroughly. I’m aware this is American of me to say that, but I believe it can be helpful to some. Great hotel, food, drinks, area. Would definitely stay again at Ruby Ella

Always staying here when I am in Cologne - lovely experience

Lovely hotel we stay at for the same business trip annually. Comfy beds, modern rooms with great facilities and the most amazing in-room shower & sink area with the best light-up mirror. Love it and wouldn't enjoy anywhere else in Cologne as much.

Nicely decorated, well appointed and spacious room. Good location with lots of bars and restaurants and a quick U-Bahn ride to the centre. Galleys on the 2nd and 4th floor with a coffee/tea station and ironing board is a nice touch. Self-check in process took longer and seemed to require inputting far more information that usual when a member of staff checks me in. It was annoying after a long day of work and travelling and felt very impersonal. It just seems like a way to cut costs for the hotel and more work for the customer. Was given the choice between a welcome drink and room cleaning for the second day of my stay. I don’t see why it should be one or the other but I chose the celaning service and my room looked barely cleaned the next day with the floor dirty and the bedding looking messy. Again just seemed like another way to cut costs and standard of service.

Everything was great.

Nice room , but a bit cramped. Bar was nice but needs more variety of normal top shelf alcohol . Breakfast was fine , scrambled eggs would be a good add.

The location of the hotel is amazing for me as I was there for the club next door. The room didn’t have a small refrigerator expected from a room of any hotel of this price range or category.

Stayed at a Rubys before and found them to be enjoyable to stay at.

Fantastic location and really cool ambiance. One quip if anything, the pillows were a little to soft for my liking. Other than that, will stay here again, keep up the great work guys!

Really chic hotel in good area of Koln, I would highly recommend.

Amazing jewel in the Cologne. Staff really friendly and push on organic food is appreciated. Atmosphere very good, rooms and overall presentation is original and really well designed. Ideally placed closed to center of Cologne makes the ideal place to stay over.

Love the crew welcoming people helping us to find good restaurant where to see overall we were very happy and we recommend people to try this place. It’s beautiful. It’s clean very modern. Thank you.

Wonderful hotel and stay. Air conditioning was not working in one of the three rooms we rented but things like that happen and they did come look at it but couldn’t fix it. They apologized and everyone was nice.

Great stay close to soo many restaurants and shopping! Very clean and the staff was very nice!
