It's close to the beach, but everything around the hotel is under construction. Make sure to ask your way to the beach, it's well worth it. I found the staff to be kind and informative. This is a very good value for the prices and there are a few nice restaurants around the hotel like Al Casbah

When I was looking for a place to stay in Paje, not too far from the beach and not too expensive, I stumbled upon Villa Huruma. It had excellent reviews and looked great on their website. However, when I got there it was even better than I had imagined! The 5 star reviews were spot on! Beautifully maintained pool and grounds, spotlessly clean rooms, gracious and professional staff- it’s a fabulous oasis of calm and decadence. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options and I had a wonderful dinner of rice and vegetable stir fry, too. My visit was highlighted by getting up early and walking 3 minutes to the beach to see the sun rise over the Indian Ocean. Book a stay at Villa Huruma! You will not regret it!

A small intimate hotel. Simple full breakfast included. Very pleasant staff. Nice swimming pool.

Everything was ok, staff polite and gentle, pool was hot but ok, food was ok.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Went as a solo traveller and felt so safe and looked after there. Room is cleaned daily and is spotless. Pool area also spotless. Lots of great options for breakfast. Staff are really friendly. Have already recommended to others and would stay again when in the area!

The beach is a few minute walk. The hotel is small 6 units, the service, meals and upkeep is done by a few very hard working ladies. We enjoyed our slice of heaven here.

The rooms were really nice and fresh. great details and touches. The pool is just the right length to swim some easy laps. And the breakfast was always well done. I will return there for sure.

It was just what I wanted, a small relaxing place with a lovely pool, close to the beach. My room was kept very clean and had a safe, air-con and small fridge. The staff were so attentive, there was always someone around to answer a question or prepare food. Breakfasts, beginning with fresh fruit were freshly prepared as was each meal I had. I would love to go back there.

the villa is as shown in the photos. Very friendly staff, happy to help you. The beach is within walking distance, which is ideal. local shops also such as supermarket, gift shop or pharmacy. The food at the villa is also very tasty. What you have to keep in mind is that everything closes at 10 p.m. in Zanzibar, including at the villa. The only thing that is a pity is the people around the villa/beach disturb you every minute. Yes and the paths where you have to walk and there is no light outside in the dark but this is all over Zanzibar.
