I really enjoyed staying here. The property is in constant communication with me from booking to checking out. I fully expected the resident Roosters to wake me up in the morning and they did not. The only thing is that the property is older and historical so no elevator. We had to climb 3 flights of stairs. The stairs weren't too bad because we pretty much were out every day.

Very clean place! Friendly, helpful and professional staff! There’s a security guard outside that made us feel safe!

Was very spacious except for the narrow walls and fridge leaking water. But I love the apt. Everything was convenient and near by. Employees very nice and friendly.

2 clubs across the street noisy especially during Wednesdays ladies night, stairs to apartment were narrow and get condensation if its too hot out or rains becoming slippery (I fell once), sofa in the apt was tiny and uncomfortable, walls in master room were dirty, needs more furniture and place to hang clothing, but the apt is close to everything, reception was great and the taco truck next to the parking lot was delicious, breakfast place next door is good too. would stay again just on lower floor

I like the vintage look. I didn’t like there was no sofa in the living room to look at television only rocking chairs. The building smell like a fishy odor that turns your stomach. But the apartment was overall clean and spacious.

Apartments and spaces are tasteful and inviting. A huge draw for us is the renovation of unique architectural buildings, renovated respectfully. We loved our stay and would love to be back.

My husband and I stayed for a week in La Ferretería. My husband and I have always dreamed to come to Puerto Rico and experience the local culture and how it’s like to live in Puerto Rico. We were raised in the hood growing up. La Ferretería is located inside the Old San Juan. If you are familiar with Puertorrican culture, you will know that La Ferretería is located close/and/or in the good area. Around the area the street walls is graffiti and there’s a local club that opens every now and then which we didn’t get bothered by the loud music, if you have sensitive ears this place is not for you to spend the night in Puerto Rico. Even with that, I felt safe like a local because that’s what we wanted, to experience the local community. Everyone is so nice and welcoming even if the exterior wasn’t the nice part of town. The interior of the building has stairs that take you to your apartment. If you’re an elevator person, this apartment isn’t for you. The interior of the apartment was really clean, the rooms have a mini split. If you leave the mini split a/c on it ventilates and cools the whole apartment well. They offer housekeeping after 3 days of stay. We didn’t request it because we didn’t need it as we were outside exploring. It has a kitchen with a fridge, stovetop, some kitchenware. It doesn’t have a microwave, which we didn’t care for since we were out tasting amazing Puertorrican cuisine. I can definitely say it’s a getaway for couples for the most part. Thanks!

The property was in a nice area

Very modern setup…. Easy access. Nice design. AC worked great! Girls at the front desk were super helpful and nice! Overall great stay!

We needed to clean the stove too, repair the coffee pot and unclog the side sink that was clogged with sand.

Everything was great! Staff very professional and nice.

Excelente lugar para descansar después de largo caminar por San Juan, muy limpio y callado. Me deben una botella de vino pero el otro año regreso y la reclamo (😂broma). Espero volver pronto y quedarme en el primer piso.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. I loved the kitchen which we used to cook breakfast daily. Dishes & cookware were available. Oil wasn’t though. We saved $ by doing this. The AC were in the rooms only but were very cold. Fan in living room but was still warm. I loved the gated entrance. We had ample space. One thing I did not like was they closed & locked the parking area and were not quick at opening it. This is a safety concern for me. I did find 2 cockroaches in restroom but entire apt was clean. Housekeeping came once to clean out trash and only. No cleaning of apt was done during stay. Overall I’d stay again. I loved the location to Old San Juan.
