I stayed here on my first visit to Kure.
The location, right in front of the station, was great, but since I had a car, I also reserved a parking spot when I made my reservation.
However, when I actually got there, I was told that they didn't have a parking spot affiliated with any other hotels and that I should use a nearby one.
They said they would give me 500 yen if I brought my parking ticket or receipt.
I had no choice but to find a cheap parking spot about a seven-minute walk away and park there.
The hotel's information on Google said they had parking spots available, but... (-_-;)
I asked the front desk lady about a nearby restaurant, but her response was vague and not at all helpful.
My visit to Kure had been plagued by heavy rain the day before, which had closed the highway and caused a series of accidents, so I was disappointed by the cold attitude of the hotel staff when I finally arrived.
I went to my room, googled a nearby izakaya called Nene, and called them.
The izakaya was really good, so that was a relief. (^_^;)
In my opinion, the only good things about this hotel are its low price and proximity to the station.
