We stayed for 2 nights, room was really clean. Paula and Mark they are very nice people. Breakfast was good and served in the room on time. Very nice place to stay.

The single room was great, bigger than I expected, spotless clean in bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was lovely, I really liked the fact it was served in your room kinda like room service, as a solo guest it avoided them awkward breakfast room conversations with the other guests 😀. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

A good place to stay when visiting Penrith and the surrounding area. Booked two rooms, both spotlessly clean, each with a comfortable bed. Eco-friendly toiletries in the bathrooms. Wide choice at breakfast. On-site parking a bonus. Mark and Paula very friendly and home-made cookie on arrival very tasty and a lovely touch :) Only downside for both myself and my friend was that there is no dining room for guests and breakfast is served in the bedrooms.

Well deserved 4 stars. We were treated very well. The breakfasts were very good too. Nice to be able to eat in our room. Good car parking. All in all a faultless stay. Highly recommend.

This was lovely place to stay - we were in the last two 'legs' of a 1300 mile road trip to Scotland (and back!) - possibly the best, as it matched all our needs for a quiet evening, in a beautifully-appointed, clean ensuite room, and a restful comfortable sleep! Our hosts, Mark & Paula were welcoming (tasty cookies!), quiet and unobtrusive (checking what bed configuration - king or twin - we wanted in advance), serving our preferred choice of tasty breakfasts at our room 's table & chairs. Their directions were great and their off-road parking was just outside the back door. What more could any touring couple want for an overnight stay?

Management was very welcoming. I had booked in into wrong date however staff accommodated me in a spare loft room which was such a huge relief for us. Property was clean through out and had a delicious vegetarian breakfast to add on. Would recommend strongly

This was a lovely b&b. Host kept in touch via text prior to arrival, informing me of parking which was full, but car park right next door was available for use. Lovely welcome with a home made cookie offered to take up to my room (very nice!). Room spacious with everything I needed - basic TV, bath / shower, kettle. Breakfast was very nice, brought to my room at time requested. Use of car charger was an added bonus at a reasonable cost. Overall a very enjoyable stay and hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hosts, room was very clean. Just in a small room at the top so rather warm. Otherwise all was very good.

I really enjoyed my stay here, owners were so nice and helpful, while i am not a vegetarian the breakfast was really good, perfect omelette and I really appreciated the butter was actually at room temp so it could be spread and not rip the toast apart. Great sound proofing and very comfy bed. Thanks very much

Just needed an overnight stay close to Blencathra and everything was spot on. Owners welcomed me by name without introducing myself first. Big single room with en suite and TV. Onsite parking and breakfast delivered to the room was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

I really like the ethos of this B&B, it tries hard to be eco in its vegetarian background to it's use of shampoo etc in refillable containers. The owners were very helpful, they were happy to aid us in charging our car and if you have an electric car you will know what a pain it can be searching for a place to top up.
