great stay, but needs air conditioning in rooms as too hot with sun blazing through and 32 degrees outside, even with curtains shut and glazed patio door open all night ( security risk I wasn't happy with as our patio door was accessible via a roof top from other rooms) a small fan provided but not enough to provide a good nights sleep unfortunately in hot temperature, we would of loved to stay again but probably wont if no air con available, which is disappointing as its a lovely venue in a lovely setting :-( .

We chose this hotel as it had a restaurant, however on arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed due to a function, but that the bar would be able to provide a meal. We passed the bar on the way to our room & were kindly given a menu to look at. After dropping our luggage we returned to the bar to eat, only to be told that the bar had stopped serving meals due to the function. After a long drive to reach the hotel, we then had to drive out again to find the nearest town to eat. On our return to the hotel the function was still going on, and we were told that the loud music would not stop until midnight! If only we had been told about the issues the function could cause ahead of our stay - we could have then made other arrangements for eating...and possibly staying. We returned to our room to find that there was water covering the bathroom floor! I went down to reception to let them know, & a staff member came up with a mop, & told us to let them know if the problem reoccurred. As it was very late by this time & we both wanted showers before bed we got on with it & mopped the recurring leak (possibly from the WC) with towels overnight. Not a very satisfactory stay. The one redeeming feature was the breakfast, which was above average.

Lovely hotel - clean, well maintained, excellent breakfast. VERY hot in a heatwave, (admittedly - likely not a problem for most of the year!) They did put fans in every room, and spaced them out throughout the hallways to try to keep the air moving. But be aware there no Aircon in the rooms if it's looking to be a hot one! Otherwise, I cannot fault anything though.

Good hotel in nice surroundings.Hotel was clean, quiet and had all that I needed. Room was bright, well ventilated and clean. Communal areas looked ok but I didn't use any facilities. Breakfast was good quality and choice. Hotel looks and felt set up for conference/training which gave it a cold feel. I would stay here again.

Nice place ,green and great outdoor

Really poor WiFi, room was dirty, the backboard had oily marks on and the wallpaper was coming off, there is no ac in the room but just a really dusty old fan, I would not recommend anyone to stay here, luckily I was only there for one night.

There were older established buildings and lots of nature about - rabbits etc. a lovely quiet space

Not the best! This hotel is just tired and in need if a good refurbish or failing that a really deep clean. Not terribly comfortable, not well laid out, just tired...

Nice rooms, clean and tidy, would probably prefer hard floors over carpet though. Breakfast was really good with a range of options for all. Would be good to tell guests in advance about the lifts not working as it is quite a trek to some of the rooms so some people might struggle and need help with bags etc.

Basically a convention center there is easy parking large rooms and the buffet breakfast was very good.

Great staff, good food and convenient location. The building itself was a little bit tired in places, but this didn’t deflect our enjoyment.

Just a fantastic chilled place to stay for the weekend

A clean room, comfortable bed and a rather nice view out the window. Plenty of parking and easy access. The staff were pleasant and easy to interact with. Will stay here again.

We stayed for one night before an exhibition at Stoneleigh Park. It was really convenient for that venue. The room was comfortable, breakfast was amazing -and for £11 you got fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries, and then the full cooked breakfast buffet. The food was fresh, well presented and lots of choice. I did notice a gluten free breakfast bar too. We ate in the evening - not a massive choice on the menu, but we found something we liked. The only downside for us was that the room was hot, but that might be perfect for others. Parking was easy, lovely grounds to walk round and lots of smaller, nook like areas to spend time in. We did not try the gym or other facilities as we arrived late and left early. Would come back again.
