Great restaurant

A wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and had an amazing view. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We had dinner at the restaurant the first night and it was top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay with clean rooms and friendly staff!

The property is great. The staff is excellent. The food is outstanding. If you want a true view of the valley be careful and request a room on on the 2nd or 3rd floor and on the right side of the hotel that faces the valley (looking at the valley).

Service was excellent. Room is very clean. Must try their dinner in their restaurant.

We loved our stay in the small chalet apartment at Hotel Baren! We had an amazing view of the mountains and could hear the bells on the sheep just down the road… and see the bunnies playing just outside our window by Hotel Edelweiss. The free breakfast was AMAZING and we had dinner there, too - also delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Excellent value for money. The rooms were recently updated and modern. We made a mistake in booking a double room instead of a triple, and the owner went our of her way to get a spare bed for our daughter. They have an excellent restaurant too. It was summer but the room had an electric fan which helped a lot. A/C was not needed at all, at night the temperature was cold. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future.

Very friendly family run hotel. Great food, hospitality, and service. Also located in a beautiful part of Wengen. The staff are very friendly and are great hosts, and give plenty of advice for places in the area.

Older hotel but well maintained. The view is beautiful from the balcony. It is a hike up to the train station but they will deliver your luggage. Wonderful place and people.

From the helpful staff to the wonderful dinner to the cozy room with the gorgeous view, I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. I'm so glad I stayed in welcoming Wengen instead of snobby Interlaken.

Cute hotel with fabulous views. Breakfast was good and the service was excellent. The couple running the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. Close to the WENGEN train station.
