This was a lovely and modernized hotel with surprisingly spacious rooms. It is about a $16 dollar Uber/Taxi ride (in 2026) to downtown or about a 45 min walk to downtown. Near the park and the Szechini Baths (about 15 mins walk) and close to stores, train stations, and amenities. Staff are friendly and front desk staff speak solid English. Each room is air conditioned and has its own mini-fridge. The only minor complaint I would have is that the fridges do not get very cool but I am aware many rooms in hotel do not have fridges at all, so appreciate their trying. Elevators are spacious and reliable as well. I would certainly stay here again!

The staff was a 10/10, extremely KIND & ATTENTIVE. The breakfast was vast,plentiful & delicious; a 10/10. The room was nice but the shower was small; a 9/10. Location was in a somewhat quiet area with restaurants & commerce not too far away, rating 8/10. Overall this hotel gets a score of 9; I would most definitely stay here again

The D50 hotel was very well maintained.It looked like it had just been refurbished. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There was a wide selection for breakfast. Depending on where you were going the hotel was not too far from areas that we wanted to explore.

Healthy options at breakfast, as rye creckers. Breakfast time stsrts on 07:00. Nearly deserted so it was very quiet. One bed light with failure. I ordered one king bed (I watched the screenshot even now) but got two single beds connected (while most of hotel seemed empty). Matress really was too soft and not of good quality. Hotel far from trams or metro station. Only buses and taxies are practical. Not my favorite place unless paid 2/3 of the payment.

Clean room, friendly staff. The breakfast is absolutely worth it and has a good upkeep. The area around the hotel is very convenient with the central train station at a 15min walk. 24h front desk is also super helpful if you're coming in late or checking out early. Value for money is really good, would stay here again.

Overall clean and nice hotel a grear value for the price with exceptional customer service at the front desk.

This is a nice hotel with plenty of room. The only reason I’d never stay here again is because the mattress is very cheap. The bedding itself, is really nice. But I woke up with back pain every morning due to quality of the mattress Also, the area is really lame. Now, with that being said, if you are only looking for a really quiet, residential area next to the Castle and Hero Square, it’s great. There are a lot of nice parks etc. But there isn’t much to do other than that. There aren’t many restaurants to choose from either. The breakfast at the hotel was free, and it was actually pretty darn good. But unfortunately, the restaurant does not serve anything but breakfast. The cleaning staff were amazing though. They did a fabulous job in the rooms. It’s a shame the mattress was not quality. It really would make the place worth staying again if I was looking for a quiet, low key place to stay.
