We really enjoyed our stay at Vilajoun! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and at ease. Our room was beautiful—spotlessly clean, well air-conditioned, and wonderfully quiet, making it a perfect place to unwind. The staff went above and beyond to help us get settled in and were incredibly helpful in pointing out the best sightseeing spots in the area. Their local recommendations truly enhanced our experience. The on-site restaurant had a lovely ambiance, though the food itself wasn’t quite as exciting as we had hoped. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall charm of the place. All in all, Vilajoun is a beautiful and peaceful villa that we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

The rooms are very nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the decor. We also enjoyed having air conditioner. The shower needs to be replaced as there was a big crack in the bottom and felt like it was about to fully cave in (room5). We were disappointed by the very strict check-in window of 4-7pm. We arrived an hour earlier and no one was working at the desk so we could not check-in and had to wait in the hot car. In addition, the hallway is very echoey and you can hear what is going on in other peoples rooms - our neighbor had a dog barking at 11pm and again in the morning and no one is working at the hotel at night to resolve issues. It’s a great budget options but there were some downsides to staying here.

We completely enjoyed our three nights here! The room was small, but it had all we needed plus a great view out both windows! The staff was so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was good. The restaurant was also excellent! Two delicious dinners there, served by helpful people who were patient and kind with our dismal French! Many thanks to everyone at Le Joucas! We enjoyed the hotel and your village very much!

We booked here based on a recommendation of a friend, who has had more than one excellent stay. It is in a beautiful region and close to other interesting little villages and towns. We arrived before 4pm check in time on a hot July afternoon, and were immediately offered the pool to cool off. It is lovely, with a beautiful vineyard view. The manager was friendly and helpful. Our room was large with a pretty view and a very comfortable bed. Electrical plugs next to the bed were insufficient, however, we travel with the extras we need, so that was fine. Our friend had told us about the quality dinners on the terrace, so we booked our table before arrival when the management sent an email offering dinner and breakfast for 2 for 100 euro . When the manager told us on arrival there was a special BBQ menu for the night with jazz music, we agreed, not knowing anywhere else to go. Big mistake! The food was mediocre, and the music was loud and unpleasant, definitely nothing like jazz. We took a table as far as possible from the music and it was still loud, and went on late into the night. It was nothing like the quality French meal under the trees we had been looking forward to. And to add insult to injury, this "special meal" cost us more than that which we had agreed to. They serve breakfast from 8-10, however, by 9 the ham was gone, not to be refilled. At checkout the next morning, we were charged twice for our dinner, an extra 100 euro! Fortunately I caught the overage before we left and had them fix it on the spot. Staff was overall very helpful, which we appreciate. The hotel itself is quite nice and the pool is great. I am so sorry for the sour notes in an otherwise good stay.

Very bad experience. Nothing was working. No warm water. Pool empty. No chairs and lays outside. Nightstand broken. Loud room as the ac was outside the room. Very noisy at all time - couldn’t find sleep as even after 11pm you hear the people at the bar like they where in your room . Not sure where the good reviews where coming from.
