Good value for the money. It's a humble 2* hotel, but the room is spacious and the common area is well taken care of, with a nice pool and some greenery. The bed was comfortable and the shower strong. Only negative was that although Expedia states that check out is at 12:00pm (clearly noted in my confirmation e-mail), in reality is at 11am. When we spoke with the gentleman at the reception, he wasn't very friendly and blamed on me for not reading a follow up e-mail they allegedly sent. Unfortunately not a hospitable or friendly person, but other than that, the rest of the experience was positive.

The hostel itself is simple and budget-friendly—nothing fancy, but a comfortable spot for a good night’s rest. The Wi-Fi only works well with the window or door open.

We stayed at the Hostal Alma for one night, and our experience had both ups and downs but overall it did feel clean and safe. Location: It was convenient for the buses to the northern peninsula viewpoints (which you can’t access by car between 10am-10pm). It was a 15 minute walk to the bus in one direction and to the port in the other direction. And the walk felt safe in the dark too. Pros: Check in was smooth and quick, there’s lots of free parking available, and the pool area is nice. It’s also very quiet but still reasonably close to things. The space felt very clean too. Cons: The WiFi was very inconsistent, to the point we weren’t actually able to use it at all. The room had a very strong smell which we believe was from the cleaning products but has a stronger chlorine scent than the swimming pool. We also found that the shower pressure/temperature was good but water would spill out of the shower and flood the bathroom as it’s all one open floor area. We also didn’t find the bed to be super comfortable, but it was totally fine for one night and decent value for the price.

We love this spot. No frills, yet everything we need and comfy. We love the pool for relaxing after exploring the island all day. Staff is lovely. Location is excellent, close to all but isolated.

Great location and beautiful little place. Sadly some quite significant shortcomings. They claim optional breakfast, there was none. Parking space really close and quite secure. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Good location for exploring the island. For the bad: you can hear everyone around you, no insolation. No ventilation, strange smell in the room, like a old wet rag. Toilet without proper door, noise after flushing (full concert). Bed confortable, clean sheets but wood on the back of the bed (same as sliding toilet "door") smells of mold or maybe some chemical finish, strong and annoying. It's really a shame because otherwise place would be perfect after couple of changes like electric fan in the bathroom and proper wood instead of strange chipboard as finish

This property is quiet and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The location is walking distance from Alcuidia old town and Port Alcuidia.

For the record - there was nothing wrong with this hostel. Folks need to be aware that is what it is and if you’re needing an economical evening or stay, this will be just fine. Just don’t expect it to be full of amenities or a four star hotel. We stayed here the location and would stay again. It’s a safe room with a bed and hot water

They have a great tapas restaurant next door and you can order your food without leaving the pool area

Hard to get any “front desk”” assistance— keeps doors locked at all times and not responsive

We had a nice room with pool view on the first floor. Nice facilities including the pool and garden area, easy parking and close enough to both Alcudia town and Alcudia Port, so the location was very convenient. On the way to the town there is also a Mercadona.

Very good place to stay. We like it.

Beautiful clean pool and the mattress was comfortable. Location is great halfway between the lovely old town where we are most nights and the port and beach on the other side. The room lacks attention to detail and feels very basic and tired. Some small changes could have made the room more attractive, some soft furnishings, better towels, a mirror, a large refillable shampoo instead of tons of sachets and cushions on the outdoor chairs. There are no drinks available at the hotel, would have been nice if the pool bar was open but an easy walk to shops. Overall a nice hotel that could have been amazing with a little more thought and care.

Fantastic stay! All clean and very pretty

Hostal Alma was in a great location, with no need for a car. It was spotless, quiet and peaceful. The room itself was also spotless, with fresh towels and linen every day! We had a lovely relaxing stay there and would go back

We had a car rental, so great for four adults in a family room. Great parking, everything you need a 5 minute drive away or walking to super 10. Lovely pool, no noise, really, it was all easy.

Very clean! Location in a quite neighbourhood, perfect to explore both the port d’alcudia and alcudia the city. Close to Mercadona. Lacks of a wardrobe. The balcony is very tiny. The rooms are not sound proofed.

Easy to locate a pleasant 5 min walk to town of old Alcudia town with restaurants or well stocked supermarket 3 minutes walk . Room spacious and airy feeling felt well maintained .
