Arguably one of the coolest and best hotels I’ve ever stayed in I wish it was longer than one night!

What a great experience! Loved the hotel and the restaurant onsite. The room was a great size for our family of four.

Top Service and best of a small hotel

We LOVED this hotel! We would definitely visit again! Beautiful rooms, well thought out decor, balconies, beautiful bathrooms. Common spaces were spectacular! Fantastic design, so charming yet modern. We had dinner at the restaurant 2 nights & it was fabulous both time!! Breakfast was also wonderful! Fantastic big coffee machine too! The owner stopped at our table to greet us & was so friendly. Can't say enough about this hotel - you must go! Don't forget to check out the Rathskeller!

Stayed with a colleague whilst working locally. Lovely and sympathetic modern refit of a beautiful old building whilst also maintaining quirky traditional touches. Great service from every member of staff I interacted with. Great restaurant and fortunate with weather to enable outdoor dining both supper and breakfast.

This is an interesting Knight/Medieval-themed hotel in the center of a small historical town in Southern Germany. I was only here for one night (on business nearby). The room was spacious and comfortable, and spotlessly clean; the underfloor heating in the bathroom was especially nice. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a small buffet, but had everything you need. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend!

very special hotel as it is from in the 17th century, very comfortable but a special interior based on knights, with such a typical restaurant

This was one of our favorite places to stay. The mid evil them was great and the hotel is very clean.

The room was very small with so little space we couldn't fit our three small cases in without piling them on top of one another. The window, by design, only partially opened and the room was therefore much to hot as there was no air-conditioning. The bathroom was very small also, with barely any free floor space. The communal areas of the hotel were great and the food was lovely. We ate in the restaurant twice and enjoyed good food at a reasonable price. Like every where we visited in Germany, tap water isn't served and a litre of bottled water adds approximately 8 euros to the dinner bill. The hotel is a great base for visiting local attractions but is in the most odd setting, in an industrial, quiet town in which there were no shops or restaurants of note. Only stay here if you have a car and are willing to eat in the hotel or drive some distance to find a restaurant. Overall, probably wouldn't stay here again based on room comfort.

Eins der schönste Hotel, wo ich je übernachtet habe. Das Essen sensationell! Der Service sehr freundlich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist überragend. Hier komme ich wieder zurück.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Der empfang ist herzlich und warm, das Personal super freundlich, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Das Zimmer war sowohl vom Stil so wie auch von der der Einrichtung, der Badewanne, dem Kamin & dem Balkon einfach nur beeindruckend. Familien & Haustierfreundlich ... auch beim Frühstück blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr freundliches uns stilvolles Hotel. Tolle Umgebung und auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert. Tolle Themenzimmer und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht.
