The check-in staff were friendly but were not properly trained and charged us for the room when they should have charged the 3rd party. We ended up paying twice and had to keep coming back to get a refund. During hot weather, rooms at the back of the building should not be filled as they did not ever cool down or get a breeze. Our room was 26 degrees the entire night despite having a fan. The floors were loud and creaky and we were woken up multiple times by the loud floors. The restaurant catered to outside customers before accommodating hotel guests. There were no electric outlets next to the beds so it was difficult to charge devices. Everything in the hotel felt old and run down. I would recommend making the extra drive to Wadebridge to say there - would never stay here again.
