Before booking this hotel, I read mixed reviews and thought people were being overly critical. However, I was thoroughly disappointed. Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn’t find my booking and spent 20 minutes on the phone. I was then taken to a room with dirty walls, no shower curtain, a shower head and taps full of lime scale, a non-working TV and a torn headboard. I refused to sleep there and requested a refund. The receptionist insisted I stay, but I refused and demanded a refund for the second night. He then told me to wait in the reception, where another man tried to persuade me to stay. I refused again and moved to another room, which was just as bad – at least the window could open. I told them to refund me for the second night, but they refused and called the hotel owner. The owner tried to justify that there weren’t any concerns with the rooms. I asked him to check the rooms I was offered, but he refused. I was told I’d be given a luxury room and hoped to stay the entire time. I waited for about an hour and a half for this room to become available, but it wasn’t good either. The shower head had water dripping out, the room wasn’t ‘luxury’ and there was a broken wardrobe. I was incredibly disappointed and was considering driving back home despite the long journey. What a waste of my £140

Can’t fault the staff they were good and helpful with checking in and out. The room was ok but needed some work. Wall had been patched up but not finished off and needed repainting. Toilet was constantly dripping loudly through the night. There was a party happening and loud music played until early hours of the morning and could be heard even when windows were closed. Hotel guests were very loud and banging doors when moving through the halls to and from the party. No towels in the bathroom so could not shower as could not dry off. For a one night stay it was ok.

Unacceptable experience. The air conditioning was broken, and my room key did not work upon arrival. To make matters worse, the bathroom had zero toilet paper. I called reception twice and waited over 10 minutes, only for the receptionist to finally show up and hand me a small towel instead of toilet paper. The service was not good.

Overall it was good enough for what I needed it for. The room itself wasn’t the best looking place. The lights in the toilet was really dim so it was a struggle to see. There were holes in the wall and huge chunks dug out the plasterboard. Plug for the tv was stretched across the wall to the nearest socket, if it got caught on someone walking by or moving luggage then that tv would defo come off the wall. Turn on the tap and the water would slide out the sink straight onto the floor and there was literally only one towel from the start, obviously that’s not a big deal but imagine having to go all the way downstairs to reception when you just want to relax and there’s not lift. The door didn’t even close properly and I lift for a few hours and anyone could have just walked in, that’s my fault obviously but didn’t expect it not to close fully. But other than that the shower pressure was amazing and parking was free and a lot of it. I was only there for a night so I didn’t experience anything else outside the room

Basic acceptable hotel but absolutely OUTSTANDING best quality super tasty and cost-effective restaurant. One of the best meals I ever had! Worth going just for the dinner!

The room is extremely well used and not maintained at all. It was dirty throughout with extremely questionable dirt, damaged walls, skirting, bath tub, doors basically everything. It was also very loud and we had random people knocking at the door. We did not stay the night and left. I personally felt very unsafe as a women with a young child.

Adequate parking, the AC was efficient in the room I stayed in.

The photo of the hotel on websites is wrong - that building is now a restaurant. We inadvertently managed to get into a wrong room with our key. Sorted that out with reception and moved to our "deluxe room". It took housekeeping over 20 minutes to move our cases from one room to another. The suite was large enough but needs to have lots of minor repairs to make it deluxe. The bath was large but had a very high side to step over to use the shower. Standing in the bath for a shower was slippery underfoot so potentially a slip hazard. Unable to turn off the heating even though it was 28 degrees outside. The wooden window frames all need to be replaced. Window openings were a challenge. We did have a good night's sleep in the bed as there was less noise both inside and outside than usual in a hotel. WiFi was fine, but no live tv so we missed the England football match. No breakfast available. Plenty of room for parking available. Easy access to Slough and area. The whole fabric of the building needs a lot of work to be done on it. We will not be staying here again as too much improvement needs to be done to the place.

No duvet on arrival, dirty rooms, moody arrogent staff, spiders everywhere, smelt, the mattress was just springs digging into us all night, worst night's sleep ever

This is a poor low budget hotel. Not fully an hotel but probably a stay in place for those using their event centre. The wardrobe is broken and has been in use since a million years. Well, I didn't stay in my room for long because I was attending an event in Slough. I only came back at 1 am, slept for few hours and checked out. Although, the bed was comfortable. Rate: 2/10

I have a better room compare with last March visit, cleaner in the room overall.

Very run down and poorly managed hotel. Tv didn’t work, shower curtain was covered in mold, No clean towels as the took ours and couldn’t replace them for two days. People coming and going all night making a lot of noise talking in reception area that is right next to the rooms. Staff didn’t seem to care we didn’t have any towels for to days and hardly any sleep due to them talking loudly all night and playing music

Parking was free, room dirty, walls covered in marks, toilet seat not attached, had to ask for a kettle twice, cheap thin mattress, smart TV which did work, generally the place is very run down. They sell soft drinks at reception but that's about it. This is not a 4 star hotel.

The room’s condition was not good , floor and walls must be refurbished.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times, and what truly keeps me coming back is the staff. Their friendliness, professionalism, and i specially thanks to miss Avon ,she is very helpful..

Disappointed. Room shabby, No bedside cabinets, reading lights. Only one widow with broken blind, outlook another building separated only by a narrow gap full of rubbish. Only Asian food on offer. No over sink light. The staff were polite and pleasant but we will not be returning to this property.

I didn’t come by car because the parking cost a fortune but the gates were closed for my Uber driver when I arrived. Room was not all clean and the TV had no working remotes. Some of the power sockets were broken and yes the staff asked me for ID and payment for a booking that I had already paid for which they then amended. Food not terrible but hygiene standards poor, took ages to arrive and it cost a fortune. I had to ask for a keycard several times for the room because it kept on not working and locking me out all the time. Views and scenery are nice but fake astroturfing and flowers not needed. Defiantly a 1 star but trying to be a 2 star Hotel. Glad they sorted the bedbugs out from the list of terrible reviews they’ve had.

Ideal for a cheap and quiet place if all you want to do is sleep.
