Stayed May 28-29 2026. Check in was easy. The room is clean, comfy beds with strong wifi connection. Amazing buffet breakfast and Mr Gamini welcomed us and introduced us to the Sri Lankan delectable cuisine that we really enjoyed. The rooftop has a view of the colorful lotus tower at night. The hotel is located perfectly in the must visit area

Our stay at Zest Metropole was absolutely perfect. We could check in at 11.00 AM already, 3 hours before the official check in time, without asking and without extra charge. The room is absolutely gorgeous and spacious. The service of the staff is splendid. The bed was very comfortable. The location was insanely good. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. We were at 7th floor and the wifi was basically dead! I had to use my own data because the hotel wifi was either so slow or I couldn’t get connected. The room was extremely noisy because of the bars around the hotel. For the past two nights we couldn’t sleep at all because there was a load concert until 3 AM at the old Dutch hospital area. We asked the receptionist to change our room but they didn’t! One day they did not clean our room, even though I put the sign at the door. When we came back to the room and informed the reception, they sent someone to clean up. We went for lunch, came back to the room and they only did the bed, didn’t clean the toilet, coffee cups etc and there was a shampoo bottle in the toilet!! We had to call them back and wait outside for another hour for them to properly clean! The only positive thing about this hotel is its restaurant. We had several meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they were all great quality and good prices, so I highly recommend visiting the restaurant. Staff at the restaurant are very nice and friendly. ⛔️I don’t recommend staying at this hotel as it doesn’t have 4 star quality and is very noisy at night.

Exceptional Venue for Corporate Events! We recently held our company’s annual gathering Zest Metropole, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The banquet hall itself is excellent—spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfectly equipped for our needs. Beyond the fantastic venue, the culinary experience was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, and the selection of tea, coffee, cake, and refreshment drinks exceeded our expectations. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its team. The staff are incredibly friendly, pleasant, and attentive, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and taken care of throughout the day. Highly recommended for any high-profile corporate or social event. We stayed at Zest Metropole for a total of two weeks with my husband, and we had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent, with a great variety and very good quality. The staff, especially the waiters, were always kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is outstanding, very convenient for exploring Colombo, and there is a very nice café right in front of the hotel. The room was extremely comfortable in every sense: clean, well-equipped, and perfect for a longer stay.
