There was no TV or Wi-Fi hookup in any of the rooms. Otherwise, it was a great location.

This was a last-minute booking, and we couldn't have asked for better accommodation. It was comfortable, very clean, quiet and cosy, well located near the Harbour and Old Reykjavik. I will definitely book again on my next visit to the city.

The property manager, Agust, went above and beyond. We arrived in Iceland at 5:00 AM and then at hotel approximately 6:30 AM for checkin. I failed to properly use the door bell system to alert him as I now realize (#01) is three key strokes, not simply push the "1" key. Though by pressing "1" illuminated a Green light, which made us think we had successfully signaled him, but this was not the case. After standing outside for a few minutes, we called Hotel.com 800# for customer service. Within a minute or so, CS rep called Agust, to alert him that we were at the door. We must commend both CS rep and Agust for the patience and courtesy they demonstrated at this early hour. Additionally, I left a pill box behind with a week worth of prescription medication. I hadn't missed it yet, as we were still in week one of our trip. Agust contacted me through Hotel.com. At that time we were on a tour out in the countryside but would be returning to Reykjavik a day later to pick up pill box. Had he not found the box and contacted me, I would not have known where or when I lost it, or where to begin to find or replace them. His courtesy and professionalism saved our trip! Many thanks!

Agust (the hotel manager)is at the hotel 24 / 7 and always will to help. We arrived at 7 in the morning and he stored our luggage and provided all kind of tips for finding breakfast and other locations around the city. The place had an eating area, fridge and microwave. We did have to walk a little to get to the place since we used Gray Line to transfer from the airport and they dropped us at their nearest pickup point. The place is not is the heart of town.

We stayed here on our last night in Iceland. There was plenty of room for the family and only a five minute walk to the city center. Its a comfortable place with lots of character. The view from the penthouse windows was amazing.

I booked 3 Sisters Studio upon recommendations from reviews. It was a decent choice in my opinion. Nice budget smaller room and comfortable stay. Agust was accessible at all times and very hospitable. He helped me with room change after first night into a nicer room with a tiny ocean view from balcony upstairs. The room was a bit smaller than my expectation but overall, my stay was pleasant and fulfilling. Maker sure to carry your bath soap, and shampoo etc. as this is not provided in the apartments. I did not know this and thought it'd be helpful for future travelers although not a big deal. Cleaning service provided alternate day only. Pros: - Location close to City Center - Easy access to shops, busy downtown - Tour stops are close by - Clean, well maintained rooms. - Secure Cons: - Smaller rooms - Carry your own bathroom essentials although towels are provided. - Cleaning Service only alternate days (for some this might be a problem- It was not for me).

Overall place was pretty good. We were provided an early checkin because we got there early. One of the cooking ranges didn't work and tripped the power. When we called the front desk the person came over immediately although it was ten in the night! Fairly good location and free parking was ple ntiful.

There was scaffolding outside the window and no breakfast provided as part of the deal. (We knew that). Parking was difficult. The room was clean and properly stocked. Beds were comfortable and August a pleasant host.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipt. We liked the location, close to the center of town and easy to find nearby parking for our rental car. Enjoyed the stay there very much.

Owner's cousin August was kind enough to let us leave our bags after a 4 AM arrival at Keflavik so we could do a scenic south coast tour that day. Very nice. Didn't get the top floor quiet room I requested, but when they put us on street floor I was not happy so August moved us up to a much nicer room on 2nd floor. Hotel is in 2 buildings. We were in the one near the marina. The graffiti on the building was a bit shocking but I guess it's becoming par for the course for Europe, even Iceland. Good location near docks and walking distance to downtown. Whole Icelandic Navy across the was on a street called "Burgerjoint", along with a really cool hamburger joint. Warning about hot water in Iceland: it stinks of Sulphur, so showers are gross, but cold water is excellent. Wi-Fi spotty.

Apartment is neat and tidy, everything provided, close to the city centre (300 m), and an easy walk to the port for cruise ships. A good find!
