This is a basic hotel but aren’t they all in Blackpool? For the money it was worth the stay, got a room upgrade which was nice and owner kindly let me check out an hour later on my last day.

The owner was so friendly, helpful, and kind. I was in town for a convention and was alone, and he made me feel right at home - even insisting on carrying my items up the stairs. I had requested a hair dryer in room the day before and it was waiting for me when I got there! Very close to the Winder Gardens where my convention was, and nearby to shops as well. I had to buy another suitcase due to all of my shopping. Will stay again!

The hotel it self it clean and tidy. The room is a lovely size and the bed is comfortable. Its in a great location very central and a great price for the room. Carparking is limited ,which is behind the hotel at 7.50 during your stay. Which we thought was a great price. However our experience was spoilt by the owner of the hotel. We went to see the blackpool illuminations in the evening and before leaving asked the owner for 2 extra pillows , straight way the owner went to collect the pilliows and even offered to wait until we got back so we could take our pilliows up to the room on our return. The owner kindly said ill wait untill 10 .30pm . We arrived back at the hotel at 9.45pm. Our pilliows were waiting as promised. We settled in our room untill a knock at the door at 11.30pm it was the owner saying to my partner, that we had written a bad review about the hotel. Bearing in mind we were trying to sleep. No review had been written at that time of night and we hadnt even checked out !!! My partner spent a few minutes trying to convince the owner that we had not written a review but he wasnt listening. The next morning we left at 9.45am as we both did not want to stay any longer ...to be greeted on the stairs by the owner. He asked if we had a good night and i replied yes up until you knocked the door at 11.30pm....why did you do that? He didnt even say sorry but instead said it was a joke?? We did not find this at all funny and we both felt it was rude and poor service.

The hotel was very close to the Winter Gardens in Blackpool so was the ideal location for our weekend at the Winter Gardens for the Soul Festival. There was parking on site at a great price of only £7.50 per night (24 hours) and the access gates were locked on a evening for security. So we just parked up and enjoyed the weekend.
