Excellent location to trains and underground. Clean and comfortable.

Great location, close to Paddington train station and lots of food options nearby.

The AC didn’t work well the 1st night, but staff got it fixed for our 2nd night. We weren’t happy to not have a real door in the restroom especially since there were 3 of us traveling together. The door is frosted glass with 1” gapes on each side & does not lock. The extra bed didn’t fit in the room so it was pushed against the king bed to make a mega bed which was awkward for our teenage son & definitely not what was advertised when we booked the hotel.

The room was described as “lower level”, but they should state these rooms are UNDERGROUND and definitely NOT SOUNDPROOF. I wouldn’t have knowingly booked an underground room. I also requested a window my son could look out from, but the window was right on the staff/basement exit and garbage collection area. I requested a different room once I arrived, but was told they were fully booked. The staff seemed friendly and I was traveling with my 3 year old son, so I decided to stay because I felt it would be too much trouble to find a decent hotel in the area at a reasonable price at such late notice. However, later that evening, I realized the room was not soundproof as advertised. The sound of the underground train is very loud and you can even feel the vibrations in these rooms, it sounds like an earthquake. My son had a very difficult time sleeping, it was scary for him. In addition, the distance to the Natural History Museum, which was the main attraction for him, was farther than what is listed on the hotel’s description.

The room is very compact, the sink sat outside the bathroom which is weird. No bottled water in the room, if you wanted water you had to get this downstairs at reception with a plastic cup.

Modern and great location. Knew I booked a lower level room, didn’t know the trains would shake the room every 10 minutes or so. Probably just an issue at that level - but one to watch.

The room was very small. You couldn’t open a suitcase anywhere but the floor by the door or on the bed. Shower was too small for a 6ft person to use. Location was convenient to paddington and it was clean but we won’t stay here again. The air conditioning worked but was VERY loud and the trains are a problem if you are a light sleeper. Definitely not for anyone with mobility issues.

Convenient, if you don’t mind feeling like you’re sleeping in a cupboard. The location is great, right near the station, close to public transport, and nestled in a lovely part of London. That’s probably what you’re paying for.. because it certainly isn’t the room. Let’s just say “compact” would be generous. If you’ve ever wanted to experience what it’s like to sleep in a tastefully decorated cupboard, this is your chance! Add to that paper-thin walls and ceilings, and you’ll enjoy every stomp, sneeze, and late-night chat from your upstairs and next-door neighbours. All in all, it’s fine if you’re a solo traveler there to explore and not planning to spend much time in your room. Just don’t expect space or value.

Room was as described, had everything I needed. In a great area close to Paddington station as well as places to eat/drink. Room was clean and staff were friendly.

There were a couple of things not working in the room but staff were all very helpful and kind to offer help. Location is great. I could hear and feel underground under the building (room on 2F) , might bother some shallow sleepers.

Nice and easy, good location.

There's an issue with the hot water. They'll act surprised when you bring it up, but as others have noted, it's a common theme to only have cold water in your shower. They turned mine on within a day but still, very frustrating. Also the rooms are absolutely tiny, the entire bathroom the size of a closet, the sink being in the main room rather inconvenient.
