Great stay with fantastic team

Beautiful relaxing hotel, staff couldn't help enough.

Really good stay. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was good. Tea tray and toiletries were all good. Only issue was there not being air con in the hottest week of the year. Lovely location and enjoyed my stay.

Set in a wonderful location, Owsten Hall is a 300 year old manor house tastefully modernised but keeping some history. The rooms were large by modern standards and recently refurbished, the cooked breakfast was lovely.

Very helpful staff. Room clean. Bed comfortable. Nice biscuits with the complementary drinks in room. Good choice at breakfast. Provided oat milk, as requested on booking, for my husband.

Pros: Surrounded by a landscaped golf course. Bath not just a shower. Toiletries in room which included conditioner which isn't always provided. Complementary water and sparkling water Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Cons: No secondary lock on the inside of the door. Hallways smell quite bad and look very tired. Noise from other rooms or hallway overnight was quite easy to hear. Not sure if the walls are thin but it was enough to wake me up. A bit of black mould in the grouting in the bathroom. Excessive messages before arrival was overkill (I think I was sent 7-8 messages in total. It wasn't just 1 or 2.) Having to charge your card with £50 even if you've prepaid. I didn't eat at the hotel so cannot vouch for the food.

Lovely big room, beautiful building, Owston Hall is a perfect place to stay for work in the Yorkshire area.

Used the restaurant twice. Service was very slow. As a result breakfast was like warm for both of us with different menus. Probably the food was standing waiting to be served.

Great staff and food was lovely. Room was nice and comfortable. Disappointed that the gym wasn’t available as I don’t think it was mentioned on your website. Otherwise a great experience.

Very comfortable room although wasn’t clear if I was going to be charged for using the shampoo and body wash. Service was excellent, food was great both at dinner and breakfast.

Exceeded expectations, a lovely hotel

The room was comfortable and perfectly acceptable however there is poor phone signal in the hotel and the guest wifi just doesnt work
