The service and staff response are very good, but these two things are not so good in my opinion. First, this is the noisiest hotel/lodging I have ever encountered. At 1 am it was still noisy laughing and laughing for no reason, and at 5 am it was the same again. At first I thought why didn't any staff reprimand them, because people are noisy in the middle of the night and at dawn, which is a hotel/lodging, of course, a place to rest and sleep. It turns out the staff were like that too 😭 chatting and joking all the way to the room. Please really adjust the place. If the noise comes from outside the property it is acceptable, if it comes from inside, where this is a place for people to rest after a long journey, tired and needing sleep, it's really strange to be honest 🙏🏻 unless this is a cafe not a lodging, then lol. Second, the shower is very slow, slower than urine 😭. Imagine there are 4 people who have to take a shower but the water is that slow, even to wet their heads it takes a long time. On the second day the technician fixed it but the change was only 15-20%, in other words, it can't be expected to be the same.

The location is close to the city center, but I wouldn't recommend it for comfort, as we experienced a power outage during our two-night stay. The hotel was completely blacked out, with no lighting whatsoever, making it uncomfortable to rest. Trying to get into the room to get things, we found ourselves swarming with mosquitoes. It was truly disappointing.

This hotel is highly recommended for transit in Singkawang.

I love the environment. I've always stayed here when I visit SKW since it opened in 2010.

The room was as pictured. There was a TV but no remote. The toilet only flushed once and had to wait a long time before it could be flushed again. The glasses looked unwashed. There was no complimentary bottled water. The staff service was mediocre. Oh, and the deposit was 100,000 Rupiah for a room like that.

The room would be nicer with a chair and a table, even if they're small. There's also a clothes hanger and a small sink. The mural with encouraging words on the wall is fun.

The hotel is strategically located near the mosque, culinary delights, and other tourist attractions. It's accessible on foot from the hotel.
