Retro style little motel. Easy check in, as we arrived late at night and the room was set up for us to just walk in and collapse. Clean facilities. Within very short drive of a fab cafe - onyx - where we went for a pretty awesome brekky the next day.

Looks better than actual. Room smell - like fish! Bathroom - toilet leaking, mouldy shower curtain and dead insects all over ceiling! Not great!

Ready and easy

carpet and floors dirty and mold in shower. not able to adjust cooling as air conditioner was too high to reach unless you stood on a chair. Bed was uncomfortable and lumpy old pillows. Very out dated motel.

Close to hospital that we needed to go to. Motel very basic, but clean & tidy

it was a very old and antiqued shower recess very cold room with a strip heater to keep warm

Liked that it had a heater. Room was a bit cramped for four of us but was clean.

Although an older motel, clean and comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be staying here again.

Neat, clean, good value - Perfect for a good place to sleep for a short visit. Very helpful staff, easy to access surrounds. Appearance of a classic Motel from the past. Fairly quiet - lovely birds in the morning.

Great staff and very friendly and helpful. As a regular traveller there is no laundry and pool was little dirty. All in all great bed and okay for 3 star motel.

Cheap; lovely, helpful lady running the motel. Motel a bit dated but fine for place to sleep on our journey. Arrived very late but was given instructions how to find key.

Close to where my son is house-sharing ,clean and comfortable,good price and,slightly out of central Newcastle.

How they keeped the retro look of the place and close it was to everything

I Liked the Proprietor and beds were comfortable. The place needed a renovation, it was dilapidated with old aircon and very little room in Bathroom

A simple motel but clean and comfortable bed. Reasonably quiet.

old style motel well looked after and in very good condition. Air a little noisy beds very comfortable and plenty of hot water

The staff were amazing... the room was a bit small but the aircon was awesome :)

Staff were great room was good it just would have been better if there was more then 1 double power point
