Location is just on the edge of town but close enough for a short drive. It was extremely quiet because the highway is not used at night. As you would suspect from the pictures the buildings are older but the rooms...especially the bathroom, are nicely modernized. The hosts were top notch and helped me with questions and a car problem I had.

Loved the colorful paint on some of the rooms, location and hiking trails were great. A large area for having a fire. Staff was really friendly and inviting, A+++

This is a wonderful little gem. It is quiet, cute, and well maintained. The team was friendly at check-in and helped with great recommendations and offered help at any time. While the rooms were a bit simpler, they had everything one needs! The property they are on is also beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend!

We were greeted by the friendly owners who not only checked us in but also gave us wonderful recommendations about Cheticamp, local restaurants and hiking trails in the Cape Breton Highlands Park. We could walk out our motel door and walk 10 minutes to some of the hiking trails in the park. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. It had attractive grounds around the motel that guests are encouraged to use. We would highly recommend The Cornerstone Motel to anyone wanting to take in Cheticamp, Cape Breton Highlands Park or just looking for a getaway.

Close to the park, 5 minutes to town for food. Great hosts, property was nice and relaxing. Clean and new feeling.

Fantastic location and super neat garden with outdoor seating area with cute building. It covers basic inside facilities (without kettle) but enough for overnight stay. Office is on opposite side of the accommodation buildings open 7am-10pm. Friendly reception staff.

The room was very clean and spacious. Property well okked after, scenic. Owners helpful. Not walkable to town and restaurants. No coffe service in room. The bathroom was spacious but lacked counter space or shelving.

Lovely folks managing the motel. Rooms are minimalist, but clean & comfortable. You are very close to the entrance of the Cabot Trail National Park. You are next to the river with hiking trails on the beautiful property. Lots of chairs outside to enjoy the last of the sun of the day.
