I've always enjoyed the North hotel. Only disappointment this time is that I travelled with my puppy and there are only double beds in pet friendly rooms which made sleeping poor. Otherwise, cleanliness was perfect.

Fantastic staff both front & back of house! Has on site superb restaurant & bar overlooking the ferry harbor. And all at a great price point!

I liked that the staff, especially at the desk were so friendly. Loved our room. It had a great view, comfy bed and good shower.

Our stay was excellent, close to the ferry, clean room and great restaurant on the property made it all very easy .. Heather the waitress is a Diamond.. I’d definitely stay there again.

The inside of the hotel was very clean and smelt nice, the rooms were very clean and they provided everything a person would need staff were very friendly location for the ferry was great the food was ok but some room for improvement but overall a nice place to stay lots of parking

The property is under renovation but the interior was clean and comfortable.

Property was okay but dated. Good news is that the outside is getting a facelift and it will look fantastic when complete. Room was clean but the carpets were not the best. Beds were comfortable and the lines smelled fresh. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. No microwaves in the room but found one down at the end of the hallway sitting on a table to use. Overall was an okay stay but the rooms are overpriced for what you get.

It was a perfect location for catching the ferry to Newfoundland the next day. Literally 1 minute from the ferry terminal. Food in the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and informative about the ferry service. Would definitely stay here again.

Restaurant for our late lunch good. Hotel is old and shows in arms. Most clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom needs a face-lift.
