Auberge rustique bien maintenue. Nous étions dans la chambre 19 (petite maison) avec vue sur la mer un lit simple et un lit Queen. Les meubles sont vieux mais ça fait l'affaire À visiter les Jardins de Cap-à-l’Aigle, la fromagerie de St-Fidèle, les chutes Fraser et l’Astroblème.

J'ai bien aimé qu'il y ait une machine à glace, c'est pratique pour les longues route si on veut de l'eau froide.

The only photo on your website that reflected the property was the one of the single single house left of the driveway. The sign at the road said "Nuages Hotel", when I went to check in a paper on the door said "Auberge des Peupliers". I had no idea if I was in the right place. The front desk was the only place I saw. The clerks could barely communicate in either French or English. I was required to sign a receipt, which they could not print a copy for me until 2 days later. The receipt they had me sign was for $159. 82 cents less than my receipt from Expedia. That is a very steep commission on the part of Expedia. There was nowhere to unpack and put my clothes for a 5 night stay. The room was clean enough but to get to the room it was necessary to go into a long, stale smelling hallway, which was laden with furniture. There was a pop and water machine outside this building but neither was connected. The washroom was right inside the entry door, completely cut off from the bedroom. There was a fridge. There was a coffeemaker with 2 pods the entire week, as no service was done to the room in 5 days. The entire property is old and in need or updating.

We had a really pleasant stay here. The bed was very comfortable, the room and bedding were very clean, and everything we needed was available and convenient. Our room didn’t have a special view, but the location itself was beautiful. There was also a shared terrace on the floor with a lovely view that anyone could access. The room included a coffee maker, cups, a TV, and a small table for meals, and there was a shared microwave available downstairs as well. There were also accessible power outlets outside that could be used for charging electric vehicles if you bring your own cable. Overall, a cozy and comfortable place to stay for the price.

We stayed here because it was pet-friendly but unfortunately my pet passed just the month before. It's a dated hotel, and could use a renovation, but overall no issues. Service was excellent.

I'm sharing photos to demonstrate the true state of the place, and because I've noticed that the owners respond viciously to honest Google reviews. The hotel no longer looks like the old photos; there are new owners. First of all, the exterior is poorly maintained. And inside... I warn you to avoid this hotel. The rooms aren't cleaned between guests. As you can see, the shower was very dirty. The towels were folded, but dirty and wet, as if they had given us the used towels of the previous guests. I've stayed in hostels that were 1/3 the price and 10x cleaner. The floorboards were so dirty you couldn't walk without slippers, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the room had a damp smell that persisted even with the windows open. The owners speak very little French or English, making it impossible for us to be understood. We kindly asked for fresh towels, but the owner was rude to us, telling us there weren't any more. So she put our towels in the dryer and then gave them back to us, still wet and unfolded. We couldn't stay a second night. We booked another hotel. Very nice hotel in beautiful location. Very quiet. The rooms are big and spacious. Good water pressure in the shower.

The single bed makes creaks non stop. Double bed was very cumfortable.

Super clean room, spacious and quiet.

The pictures are grossly inaccurate and misleading. There is no cozy living room or bright breakfast room. The gardens are overgrown and the buildings are deteriorating. There are tacky plastic flowers outside the main entrance and weeds everywhere. Our small porch was very dirty. The staff were friendly and polite, but I don’t believe they were being genuine about their renovation plans for the property. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. But, I had expected an elegant older property from the photos, and was very disappointed. I understand now why the rooms are inexpensive.

The receptionist is a chinese woman who does not know how to communicate in French or in English. This was a problem because there were many problems for my reservation. I asked for 2 regular beds and I only got 1 regular bed. There was a small bed for children but the mattress was so old that it was sliding and was not confortable, The lady told me that there was air conditioning, which was not the case. In the end I paid $285 for a room that was only worth $150 when I compare with the competition. This hotel needs a true bilingual receptionist that understand what the customers are saying. My friend and I did not understand the rceptionist becausxe she was unable to communicate properly.
