I can always count on the Walter Gage properties when I'm visiting Vancouver. Check-in is easy, there is ample parking--even for a pickup truck, there are two coffee shops just steps away, the property is always pristine, and the location is excellent.

Professional and friendly staff. Very helpful. Washing machines for guests in apartment style residences could be replaced as they really smell of mold. Even after washing our clothes smelled. But overall - excellent!

I recommend this place all the time.It's easy to get to places to eat.Have a drink and catch the bus to go downtown

Lovely hotel. Very clean and well maintained. The staff were very happy and friendly. As we were leaving our room, one of the housekeeping staff thanked us for staying and wished us well. She seemed very happy in her role. The ladies at reception were also very happy and friendly and super helpful with providing info re buses and things to see and do.

Clean room and functional but kitchen poorly equipped - bring your own pans / dishes if you’re particular. Fridge compressor had a hard time staying off as did the heat pump. Double motor noise throughout the night not great.

A clean facility in a beautiful location

The property is very clean. I only stayed one night, but there is a kitchen to cook in if you need it. I had a decent night's sleep. The bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet. My only problem was that I was very cold because the bedding was insufficient. There was only a thick sheet for a top blanket; luckily, I had my flannel PJs with me, or I would have been very cold.

Great place to stay.

Wonderful to have a suite with a full kitchen for our stay on campus. We had everything we needed including reserved (paid) parking nearby. The staff at the registration desk are sincere in their efforts to help but very busy at times and perhaps lacking somewhat in experience, as things that would normally be handled easily by hotel front desk staff (e.g., key cards that don't work) take longer to resolve than they should. Would still recommend, especially if you have a reason to stay on campus (graduation).

Great place

The suite was a great size and very comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating to any requests—always professional. The location is excellent, with easy access to the large conference center at UBC and walking distance to museums, restaurants, beaches, and small grocery shops.

Staff was excellent friendly and helpful. No complaints but the only thing the air conditioner was making a lot of noise. May need some maintenance. We stayed in the first floor of the gave apartments. Funny sound coming from the ac unit. Everything was great! I would stay there again. Room 123 was our room

Kind and helpful staff. Clean room with everything you need: a small hair dryer, coffee maker, coffee, tea, kettle, towels, full mini kitchen. Bed was comfortable, clean, well lit, nice view, good shower, felt safe.
