No frills hostel that's a pretty good value. It's a hostel but there are no dorms, all the rooms are private with a shared bath. The place was very clean the rooms are a bit worn. The breakfast was OK but nothing spectacular. Cereal, bread, ham cheese, and there was a kuchen every day. No eggs, yogurt, pancakes or anything fancy.except the kuchen. There is one parking space available on a first come first served basis. Parking can be difficult to find during high season. There is a parking lot one.black away that cost 5000 pesos a night which seemed.pretty reasonable. The house is located just two blocks from the town square and a ton of restaurants and bars. One of the owners speaks perfect English and the entire staff is really friendly.

No hot water. Freezing room. Noisy. Not very kind staff, except for sweet Carla. Avoid it while you can.

Staying here was like being a guest in someone's house in Castro-the family lives in the space. Fortunately, they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic and some have no windows to the outside, but the price is also low. The little hostel is right in town and has a beautiful view of the harbour hight in front.
