No hand soap and the emptiest pillows I’ve ever rest my head on but at least you get free public transport for the duration of your stay

A very basic room which did the job for one night. Quite aged and could do with a refresh. They also asked for a deposit for an adapter which I thought was not very good. The location is close to the main station and walkable into town (down a steep hill).

I had a nice stay. The staff were very friendly and set me up with a free local transport card. The breakfast is very good and fair priced. Location is excellent if you want access to the main station. No complaints at this price point.

Hotel a 10 minutos a pie desde la estación de buses, a 8 minutos a pie de la estación de trenes y del fonicular que te baja al downtown. Personal amable, habitación limpia, pero sencilla. Solo cama, baño y TV pequeño. No café, no plancha, no blower. Tiene aire acondicionado, ascensor, agua caliente en el baño. Solo estuve 1 noche y ofrecio justo lo que necesitaba. Parada de autobuses al frente del hotel. Área y pueblo seguro, buses puntuales y habitantes cordiales.

Good for value. Clean but a bit dated. Could use better linen. Very close to station. Take the funicular to waterfront and main shopping banking area. Great for budget minded folks

Quaint old fashioned room. Nice balcony. Courteous check-in. Only issue was current construction around train station - do not trust Google walking route as it takes much longer to detour. Go behind train station and up to hotel the back way. The route TO the train station is the route to use TO hotel as well.

Ok hotel - near terminal!

The room was very small. When we arrived there was no one at the reception and we had to wait several minutes. The car park was a narrow street with almost no place to leave it. It is not a car park. Everything was clean. The bathroom is ridiculous, it does not have a shower, it is a bathtub without a curtain and with a shower that you have to hold in your hand. Impossible to take a proper shower. They promised to give us the tickets for transportation and we never received them.

Unable to communicate with front desk. Front desk personnel spoke Italian only.

It was good, but I can't give more than 3 stars because it was not quiet at all during the night. Some people were screaming in the corridor. Also, we came at 9 AM to eat the breakfast, but there was no food anymore. Finally, the shower head was very bad.

It’s near the train station!

It was literally less than 5 mins away from the train station . The bus around Lugano and the funicular to the old town was free . The property was a perfect location . It’s clean and well kept . But small rooms and beds . Which is not a big issue for us . The service is superb . The receptionist came and picked us up at the train station personally .

It was a 3 minute walk from the train station, but was a very quiet and nice location. The free funicular from the train station dropped us right into the center of town in 3 minutes where shopping, dining and the lake were very accessible.

Very close to the Train station. I picked this place so that I can walk to the train station with all my luggages early in the morning. You cannot get any closer than this ! Facilities are good, clean room. The only inconvenience was the bathroom had an old fashioned ( but very good condition) bath tub- so you need to take a shower with extra care to make sure that you do not to spread water all over.
