First room had bed bugs. Moved and second Room didn’t . Can hear working girls all night. Some megaphone announcements starting early . Price was cheap shower was hot and big , wifi was good.

Bed bugs in Room 505, I woke up and found them in my bed and I was bitten 25 times. I complained and demanded to moce to a new room (it was 2am!) and moved into Rm 506, which seemed ok. I awoke and went to work, further bite appeared on me and I discovered bed bugs at 12am. I phoned Hotels.com who promised to "take care of everything" and get me a full refund. They did not, so I had to return and demand a refund in person. The owver said I could not have a refudn for the days I had been there, so I also asked Hotels.com to compensate me, or I would take them to court, which they did. Hotels.com's site barely mentions bed bugs in its reviews: on Google there are nearly 40 reviews about bed bugs. I moved to a better hotel for the rest of my week.

I say things honestly about the property and it sounds bad. But that’s not my opinion of the property. I liked the property and the neighborhood. You formed the questions to where my answers sounded bad, but they aren’t. It was a great hotel. The area had lots of public transit was close to lots of restaurantes and shopping and metro. It was dirty and old and the streets were filled with trash and there were limited bathrooms but I liked it. It had some bad, but overall it was really good and enjoyable. Except all the people flashing lights and honking horns at me and sounding sirens. If you don’t want the truth published, then stop doing things you don’t want published. I was forced to edit facts out of this review.

Me gusta que es cerca de el metro y comiones y centro historical distraído. Me gusta qué hay un gym cerca. Me gusta el joven chico en la oficina, el es muy amable. Me gusta la cuarto es limpiar y lindo. Me gusta el barrio pero algunas personas posiblemente no le gusta. Pero yo lo hago. No me gusta las puertas a veces son cerrada. Me gusta hay un ascensor. Me gusta hay una trabajando ventana en el cuarto.

This hotel was one of the worst we’ve ever stayed at. We usually book on Airbnb, but because of Dia de Muertos all the Airbnb’s in our prices ($25 a night) were booked so we had to book through hotels.com. Truthfully we’ve not had good luck with hotels.com. The main problem with this hotel was bedbugs. It was infested with bedbugs and mosquitoes. There are also quite a few prostitutes who screamed and hollered all night long, and you could hear it through the walls and open windows. This is the 1st hotel anyone has ever tried to scam us at & our door was super messed up. Every time we tried to go in, we had to get assistance. The front desk guy even had to take the handle off of the door so that we could get in one day. It was just a mess. But they did have 24/7 porn channels on the TV; when it worked at least. So I guess that’s a plus?!?! Not for us. But for the prostitutes atleast. Just don’t bring your kids here. Or your wife. On second thought just stay away from it. There was a nice hotel a few doors down for $35 a night that we ended up staying at instead. I recommend staying there or anywhere else really. As far as being scammed, reviews state that other patrons had similar experiences. The young guy told us we had to pay more money to stay and when we didn’t he held us up for several hours repeating the same thing. We refused to pay & left but it ruined our plans for the day. Facilities were functional and seemingly clean, but had a poor appearance. The toilet/shower room had an industrial-type toilet with no seat at all. Hot water was only moderately hot. If the ambient temperature was any colder the hot faucet's temperature wouldn't have been hot enough for a comfortable shower. The maintenance/cleaning personnel used this loud PA system at any time of day or night to announce which rooms needed attention. Even if you're not a light sleeper it gets very annoying after a while. Even the person at the lobby suggested me to only pay one night at a time in case I decided to move out early. That was a big red flag. On day 3 of my 3-night day stay I woke up with a rash and hives consistent with bed bug bites. Had to isolate all my clothes treat them for bedbugs when I got back home. Not worth all the hassle for the price.

I need a refund

The outside and area was nothing special however lovely inside with cleans rooms, nice decor with tiling. Our first room was near the elevator which was noisy however we were able to change rooms. Easy walk to Centro.

Suite 500 was fancy, has boutique feel, wall-to-floor mirrors, custom made furniture and decor, functional large jacuzzi. Facing street, with horrible noises all days and nights. Internet was from 1999, dropping left and right, totally spotty and frustratingly unreliable. WiFi during my 2-night stay was just a giant waste of time. Previous stay in December was perfect.

Bed was a bit hard for me. Close to metro and night life

Only stayed one night but I rested well. Room was clean, beds were comfy.

La falta de ventiladores o la opción de aire acondicionado y mosquiteros ya que aparte del calor que se sentía había demasiados mosquitos, fue muy molesto ya que no se podía descansar.

It depends how you regard the matter of safety. I find the place rather pleasant in view of the rate I paid for the room. Be ready to accept the room doesn’t come with air conditioning and have some mosquito repellent with you. Since it is not on the busiest street, it could look a bit dowdy. However, the room was good and there were comments that the stuff were unfriendly, be factual, you come to a Spanish speaking country and you expect people to understand English? Have a Spanish language book or a translating software handy and it helps break barrier.

What we liked: price, rooms were clean, 10 minute + walking distance to Zocalo. No sitting area outside rooms, front desk staff not friendly

I checked in around 10pm, since they argued that they already performed cash out for the day they could accept credit cards, so I had to pay with cash. There were some cockroaches in the bedroom.
