10/10, fantastic hotel and service. Highly recommend and would love to stay again. Very quiet and great location

Great property as far as service, cleanliness, and location! Everyone on the staff was very kind and attentive since we checked in. Breakfast at the restaurant and drinks at the library bar are a bit pricy but worth it for the one day we decided to stay in. The one issue that I would say was mildly annoying was that the main road is closed to auto traffic/public taxis 10am-8pm. This was frustrating when attempting to get to places on time and also made me reluctant to wear heels often since we had to walk out to the main road for a taxi. With that being said, the staff is more than willing to call a taxi for you but you will still have to walk out to the main road. Overall, I’d recommend this property and would gladly stay here again.

Wonderfully updated property within walking distance to Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazar, 15 min walk to Blue Mosque and Bospherous just around the corner. Staff was amazing. Yigit concierge and GM have 5 star white glove service. Concierge even walked us to a taxi stand to make sure we found it. Rooms are modern and great size bathroom for being in Europe. Can’t say enough. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful hotel with lovely comfortable room. In busy old part of the city but very close to city highlights and tram stops. I would stay again.

Outstanding customer service!

I had wonderful stay at the Sanasarayan Han hotel. Beautifully decorated room and a spacious bathroom with personal touches. Very good sound isolation. Not a single piece of noise will get to the room, so good night sleep is guaranteed. Luxurious bed linen and bathroom robes. Coffee machine and excellent choice of teas are provided. Good breakfast choices with homemade bread and pastries with very attentive service from breakfast staff. And, of course, Turkish coffee is a delight. Staff is very attentive and helpful from very start to the final walk to the airport cab. Turkish tea on the arrival while admin work is sorted is very welcoming and warming. Special thanks to Yigit Sengelen and Hassan for adding to my experience here. Your help and attention are very much appreciated! It is situated in the very centre with shops and restaurants at an arm’s length. I can’t recommend this hotel enough while staying in Istanbul. It will add to the charm of exploring this great city.

This hotel is a mixed bag—while their bellboys (at least the two who assisted me) are excellent, sincere, resourceful, and easy to communicate with, some of the staff and management seem clueless about what constitutes a good hotel experience. I wouldn’t demand much if this were just a standard hotel, but when you label yourself as a “luxury collection,” charge premium room rates, and station fancy-looking staff around the premises, you should understand what customer experience truly means. Unfortunately, it seems the management is either still learning or unaware that they need to improve. Interestingly, during the same trip, I stayed at other hotels in the country that provided far better service and overall experiences. While I wouldn’t go so far as to suggest avoiding this hotel—it is in a convenient location and housed in a nice building—don’t expect a luxurious experience. Beneath the surface, it falls far short of luxury.

A gem in the middle of mayhem!

We arrived at 10pm and were put in an unacceptable room. The shower door was broken and made a terrible noise and one of the sinks wouldn’t drain. We moved to another room the next morning which was better but this was obviously a whole lot of trouble. This room had a thank you note from the manager to the previous occupant and a used towel hanging from a bathroom hook. It obviously hadn’t been properly cleaned. Another major problem for me was the dim lighting in the bathroom. It doesn’t have near enough light to apply makeup. The rooms are attractive and the bed is comfortable. The staff can be very friendly. Or not. The breakfast room gets overwhelmed all the time. That can lead to a lot of stress when you’ve got a tour scheduled.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I have stayed at the four seasons and this hotel has the same service and quality. I would like to give a thank you to their excellent concierge Yigit. The best par none!!!!! Thanks for making my stay wonderful.
