Great location, breakfast was very good. Great traditional German food nearby. Only downside is when traveling by train, it is a pretty long hike to hotel when you have a lot of heavy bags.

This hotel could improve greatly with a new laundry service. I’ve never had towels that were so good at exfoliating my body just by trying to dry off. Chips in the paint in the room belied the 4star rating. On a positive note, the property is gorgeous, breakfast tasty and the staff was helpful.

The room was severely overpriced for what we got. There was no indication that the "suite" we'd be staying in was in a separate building, not the Schloss. It also included a very narrow spiral staircase up to the bedroom people with limited mobility would have difficulty reaching. The room itself desperately needed updating and our breakfast order was never delivered. Views of the vineyard behind the Schloss were the only positive.

Lovely old building. Lovely setting and grounds. BUT, my single room was very tiny, up in the attic, up 4 flights of stairs! It was Hot and cramped, although they did supply a fan. Single bed wasn't very comfortable. Very expensive room, so not good value at all.

Great property with beautiful grounds. The only shortfall is that it has no lift. That didn’t matter to me, but others should note. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

Amazing restaurant in hotel as well!!

Comfortable rooms and nice surroundings. Breakfast service excellent, however skip dinner and go to the nearby biergatden instead.

Very much enjoyed my stay. Was orig. in double room, but upgraded to suite - amazing experience, although missed a/c, especially during warm summer days and hay fever season. Reception staff very friendly and forthcoming. Breakfast exceptionally good - I could sit & eat from 7a to 10a, if I had the time ;) Would definitely stay again. Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Despite my total lack of German language skills they all speak fabulous English and went out of their way to help me enjoy my stay.

Very disappointing experience. All is well organized to maxime profits while offering a very bad client services : 6 EUR for a bottle of water in the room, no free wifi, no garden, a very disturbing public manifestation with a lot of music on sunday, total lack of renovation,......

Super Aufenthalt für eine Geschäftsreise

Charmigt boende med vacker utsikt. Bra frukost

Sehr schönes Hotel, in der Mitte von Edesheim, nahe dem Mühlwanderweg. Das Hotel und der Garten sind leider nicht in Top Zustand, sonst aber eine Reise wert.

Leider kein Aufzug bei Zimmer im 4.Stock

Vi fikk et ganske stort rom på bakkeplan med oppholdsrom, soverom og bad. God seng og behagelig sted. Men vi bodde i annekset ved siden av slottet, og vi hadde jo håpet å faktisk bo inne i slottet, men det er vel fordi vi hadde et standard dobbeltrom. Fikk ikke så veldig inntrykk av selve slottet når vi ikke bodde der. Vinranker på utsiden av vinduet var vakkert å våkne opp til.

Frühstück war entäuschend. Um 9.00 wsren wurst und Käse sehr wenig noch da. Keine frisch gepressten Säfte gab es und Kaffee aus der Thermoskanne. Enttäuschend.

Tolles historisches Gebäude, große Suite, zentrale, aber ruhige Lage. Weniger gut gefallen gat uns das Personal, man wurde teilweise kaum beachtet, beim Frühstück wirkte alles etwas planlos ubd unorganisiert.

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt im Schlosshotel Edesheim rundum glücklich und zufrieden. Man kann direkt bis an das Schloss heranfahren und dort parken. Am Empfang trifft man jederzeit eine freundliche Ansprechpartnerin an. Zimmer und Bäder waren geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet. Es war sehr ruhig und wir hatten eine wunderbare Aussicht auf den Park und die Umgebung. Beim Frühstück bleiben keine Wünsche offen und auch im Restaurant haben wir ein sehr schönes und empfehlenswertes Menü genossen. Wir lieben das vor allem das Ambiente in diesem wunderschönen historischen Ensemble und werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

tolle Lage, historisches Ambiente, tolles Gartengelände, up-gegradet auf große Suite, Rezeptionspersonal formell freundlich, aber wenig hilfreich. Sonstiges Personal (Frühst, Restaurant,) umso freundlicher und hilfsbereiter. Zimmerservice nicht beurteilbar- da nicht durchgeführt, trotz üblichen Türschildes "bitte aufräumen .." Auf Nachfrage wurde erklärt Zimmerservice müsse man in Corona-Zeiten extra bestellen, -darüber wurden wir aber nicht aufgeklärt.
